Busting bad dish!

Whoops! Us Weekly Publishes Sarah Palin/Christina Aguilera Spoof as Fact

Truth rating: 0

(Us Weekly)

This is really bad.

Us Weekly has published what it claims are comments made by Sarah Palin, in which the former vice presidential candidate blasts Christina Aguilera’s performance of the national anthem at Super Bowl XLV.

Except the over-the-top “quotes,” which Us Weekly attributes to a Monday radio interview with Sean Hannity, were actually written for a satire website.

Again: Palin’s Aguilera comments are fabricated.

They come from a satire piece.

Only Us Weekly posted the “Palin” comments as real.

Check out the hottest PHOTOS of the week

Therefore, according to Us Weekly, Palin calls Aguilera a “demanding beauty queen who’s clearly in over her head.”

The fake “Palin” also talks about wanting to “deport” Aguilera, because “spicy Latin princesses” shouldn’t be allowed to sing at the Super Bowl.

“Unemployment is at nine percent, yet we have to suffer through a performance by a foreigner with a poor grasp of the English language,” the fake “Palin” supposedly tells “Hannity” in the phony interview.

It boggles the mind that a major outlet could read these obviously satirical, fake quotes and treat them as the real deal.

However badly Aguilera botched the anthem last Sunday, Us Weekly just did a hundred times worse.

Check out Christina and her boyfriend out on the town in London!

This is EXACTLY why none of us believe you in the MSM any longer. You are so liberal, so STUPID, so bigotted, so offensive to the American people that it is time for all of you to go bankrupt! The truth is irrelevant to you all. The only thing that counts is your POV and your POV glorifies sexist, base, misoginistic crap! Liberalism is a mental disorder and everyday we have further proof!

Why do you hate conservative women so much? Is it because they don’t have an abortion every month? Is it because they have integrity and morals? Is it because they don’t act like the sluts you love to glorify… Lohan, et. al? What is wrong with you fools?

Amen, brother — and, may I add that America is in desperate need of ‘Palingenesis,’ a return to our revolutionary roots, a reaffirmation of the American social contract, which defines the sovereignty of the American people and what American citizenship truly means. Only parties to the contract (citizens) are entitled to the rights of citizenship, foreign terrorists and combatants are entitled to the gallows, not Miranda Rights. Illegal aliens are not entitled to the American tax payer’s dollar nor the raping of our economy, they’re entitled to chain-gang labor to pay-off their debt to America and banishment (under penalty of hanging upon illegal return following deportation)for breaking into our homeland and violating our sovereignty. It is not about race, ethnicity, religion, et cetera — it’s about the social contract, citizenship!

Not surprising, unfortunately. Rachel Maddow was caught reporting a Palin spoof as fact just last week.

Our current political climate is such that we’re inclined to believe anything that reaffirms our own perceptions and prejudices, whether it’s Barack Obama being a ‘secret muslim’ or that Bush ‘lied’ about WMD or, you know, this ridiculous stuff about Palin. It happens on both sides and ironically it’s politicians themselves who foster these paranoid feelings toward our brothers. We can agree to disagree without being portrayed as racists, homophobes, communists, etc. The media and politicians would rather focus on the things the relatively minor things that divide us, let’s not play along!

I don’t think we should expect a comment from Palin on this one. US is more on the Enquirer level of news, and rarely a source of real hot breaking news.

what do it matter if it were made up! she would of said those things if she had been asked. I applaud the gossip cop for having the guts to print what that witch were thinking but didn’t say. they should impeach that hag and throw away the key. she is so racist that i see red every time i see a pitcher of her. Hurray for global coppa’s

This is business as usual for the DNC. They know it’s false but put it out there and people like 6packcoors will believe it and spread it around. A year from now, Democrats will still be repeating it and believing it.

I’ve never been able to read this book completely. Although it’s was one of the most tediously boring things I ever attempted, the author described our contemporary American media quite nicely. Sadly, ignorant people are all too willing to believe lies and continue to do so.

“All this was inspired by the principle–which is quite true within itself–that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.”

6packacoors cannot be for real. Is anybody really that ignorant, misinformed and out of touch? Put down the bong boy! Learn to read. I shudder to think your handlers let you out in public without a football helmet.

I read Rachel Maddow reported attributed some bogus quotes to Palin, and now we have this. Call me paranoid if you want, but I’m not so convinced these are mistakes are their part. I think they know they’re bogus, but report it anyway because it does it’s damage. How many people will hear/read the bogus stuff and never know about the corrections made a week later? Spend two minutes reporting bogus quotes/news, which just trashes the subject (Palin in this case, but any conservative will do), and then a week later quietly issue a five second correction, who’s gonna notice? Like I said, the damage is done. They know full well what they’re doing.

Useless MSM, when they are not getting facts wrong, they are censoring. After all, censorship is everywhere. The gov’t (and their big business cronies) censor free speech, shut down dissent and ban the book “America Deceived II”. Free speech for all.

It started from Day 1. The libs are so afraid of Palin that 95% of the believe it was she who said that “I can see Russia from my house.” The incivility, indecency, inappropriateness we’re currently seeing in our country has it’s roots in the liberal mind-set, which has this in common with Islam and Communism: “any thing goes as long as it gets us to our goal.”

  • 6packacoors

to all you racerist tea baggers they would of never printed it if it won’t the truth. because of her that senater from misouri got shot and will now probabley die. even her red neck space ship pilot said it were because of sara palin when he were on 60 minutes

  • RT

Since when is US Weekly, which is basically a People magazine clone, considered “liberal.” It’s gossip and recipes, not politics. And evidently, not even journalism. So all you right wing conspiracy freaks, just back off from the liberal bias accusations, okay? This isn’t liberal vs. conservative; it’s dumb vs. dumber. Sheesh!

  • RT

One more thing: liberals aren’t afraid of Palin. We pity her. We pity her followers. And we’re embarrassed for all of them, in their public ignorance.

  • kcbones

Wow. I don’t comment on these things to often, but 6packacoors seems more like acaseacoors and just barely conscious enough to fall on a keyboard to type in some retarded comments. It wasn’t a Senator from Missouri, it was a High Priestess from Peru. She wasn’t shot, she was verbally abused. And her husband wasn’t a space ship pilot, he was actually a Martian. Put down your Coors and learn to read some news. I don’t think 6packacoors is a liberal, black, white, conservative, productive, or anything along those lines…..just stupid.

It is a technique used by the left all the time. Throw lies around, worry about retractions later. Its the kinda thing you must do when your agenda doesn’t hold up to the truth.

The pharmacy just called, they said that you should hurry over and pick up your medicine.

    Please.

  • msmayhem

Wow, nightrider. You are absolutely right. As a liberal woman, not only did I serve my country honorably for 20 years, but I raised two kids by myself because my conservative husband wanted to move his pregnant mistress in our home. I must have blocked out all of the abortions I had, all of the men that I slept with, and all of the diseases I got from being a whore. Because that’s what liberals are all about, right? Lies and misleading information are not an exclusive element of the left, I am certain that the right indulges in it as well. We do it because we are human, not because we are one party or the other. This, right here, is what is wrong with the country. The left and the right are so busy pointing out what is wrong with the other party that they can’t get around it. Ooops, was that too hopeful? Sorry, I should have bashed the conservatives more so I can be a mindless douchebag too.

  • msmayhem

Oh, forgot to add…Palin is not threatening enough to be scared of. She’s just…sad.
