Sarah Jessica Parker Wouldn’t Invite Kim Cattrall To ‘Divorce’ Premiere?
Sarah Jessica Parker did NOT refuse to invite Kim Cattrall to the premiere of her new HBO series, “Divorce,” despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
According to the National Enquirer, Parker invited all of her “Sex and the City” co-stars, including Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Mario Cantone, to join her at the red carpet of her new show, but snubbed Cattrall. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Sarah and Kim haven’t spoken since they shot the film. Sarah went out of her way to invite her old cast to the premiere, but made it clear that Kim was not welcome.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who assures us there are no issues between Parker and Cattrall, who was in fact invited to the “Divorce” premiere. We’re told the actress couldn’t make the event, but she wasn’t at all snubbed, despite the tabloid’s attempt to create a nonexistent feud between the former co-stars.
Of course, the Enquirer has published many false stories about Parker, so this latest piece of fiction comes as no surprise. Gossip Cop previously busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Parker was demanding $50 million to star in Sex and the City 3. There was no truth to that report, and the same goes for this latest one involving Cattrall.
