Sandra Bullock NOT Leaving Hollywood, Despite Report
Sandra Bullock has no plans to leave Hollywood, despite a new tabloid cover story claiming that the actress will be living with her family in Wyoming full-time. Gossip Cop can debunk this false report. We’re told it’s a total fabrication.
The cover of the latest issue of OK! purports that the actress is quitting show business to begin a new life with boyfriend Bryan Randall and her two kids in Jackson Hole, where she owns a home. The magazine quotes what it purports is a “source” saying this supposed permanent move was brought on by Bullock “getting tired of acting” and being “sick of the spotlight.” Her upcoming film, Ocean’s Eight, doesn’t hit theaters until next year, but the outlet says it will be her final project before retirement.
The tabloid’s unnamed insider further claims that Bullock is weary of the “fakery” in Los Angeles, and wants to raise her children in a more normal, small town environment. The “source” also maintains that the actress and her boyfriend plan to purchase a Jackson Hole bar, and are even talking about adopting another child. “They love the idea of escaping Hollywood to hide away in the country,” adds the seemingly phony or misguided insider.
Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a source close to Bullock to determine the veracity of the tabloid’s claim, and we’re told she isn’t planning to retire anytime soon. The actress does own property in Jackson Hole, but she also has homes in several other cities around the country, as well. Regardless, Gossip Cop is assured that Bullock’s acting days are far from over. Additionally, a rep for Bullock also says the publication’s story about her relocating is untrue.
OK! has had no qualms printing and putting on newsstands inaccurate articles about Bullock. After the magazine wrongly reported in a 2012 cover story that Bullock was dating Ryan Reynolds’ best friend Jonathan Womack Martin, the actress exclusively told Gossip Cop the entire article was untrue. “The only man who has stolen my heart is my son,” Bullock told us at the time. With this latest cover story, the publication has continued to show that it is not committed to fact-checking its claims about the actress’s personal life.
