Sandra Bullock’s reps haven’t talked to divorce attorneys (yet), despite claim

Just days after the shocking revelation that Jesse James allegedly cheated on his Oscar trophy-winning wife Sandra Bullock with inked-up mistress Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, TMZ is reporting that Bullock’s “reps have been in touch with several high-end divorce lawyers.”

According to the site, the “frontrunner” to represent Bullock is legal eagle Lance Spiegel, who has handled splits for Heather Locklear, Michael Jackson, and Charlie Sheen.

As for James, at this point his people have only reached out to attorneys to see if they might be willing to represent him should Bullock file for divorce, reports TMZ.

And while a permanent split may happen in the future, as of now Bullock’s camp has yet to approach divorce attorneys. In fact, a rep for Bullock tells Gossip Cop that TMZ’s report is “completely false.”

As always, Gossip Cop will continue to monitor the situation.

    Once all the “nazi” stuff came out, if she wanted to still have a career the only choice for her was to immediately proceed to divorce. It’s a publicity nightmare she absolutely has to separate herself from. JJ left no wiggle room.

    Yea it does suck that she’s had virtually no time to celebrate her award winning season. But I believe Sandy will bounce back from this disappointment stronger than ever. Lessons are always learned during the low points in our lives. Sandy will learn from this and will grow from it.

    As for the question, JJ needs to hit the road. He was never good enough for her!

    If they reconcile, it would be sadder if they divorced. Nobody should ever have to deal with the knowledge that someone they trusted has cheated on them, let alone with some nazi, white supremacist piece of hooker-garbage. And frankly, i find it disgusting that, while she thanked him for her Emmy & Oscar wins, he could sit there with a smile on his face knowing he’d been banging some tramp. Dude must not have a soul.

    Im so glad she’s contacting divorce lawyers and not “sex rehab” therapists!
    Sandra has a repuatation for being a strong woman. Strong women don’t put up with guys that lie to their faces and have unprotected sex with random women. It is sad for her now – but she’ll be so much better off without this liar in the long run and she will find her happiness once again.

    Sad for Sandra, and wishing her much strength in the coming daZe. I cannot imagine how she must feel now, especially after thanking her lucky stars publically, numerous times, for finding this man. Hold your head up Sandy! It wasn’t anything you did, except love him . . .

    When guys do this to the women who love them, it’s never about that love, but about their own inability to accept the goodness of that love as deserved. I’m sooo sick of this mentality, this lacking in sooo many men anymore. They are only cheating themself . . .
