Sam Woolf was nearly sent home on “American Idol” last week — and made a big comeback on Wednesday’s show.

The teen, who was saved by the judges from elimination after scoring the lowest amount of votes, got their seal of approval again with his acoustic take on “Time After Time” for 80s night.

“I love the fact that you did that with the acoustic guitar solo. That was really, really good,” Keith Urban said afterward.

Jennifer Lopez said the singer did a “great job,” noting, “First of all listening to your voice for me is such a treat. I just love the way you sing.”

“And it really gets showcased when you play the guitar,” she added.

And Harry Connick Jr. told Woolf, “Sam, I think you’re getting better every week. We can see how hard you’re working. Nice job.”
