Sam Woolf Has ‘Voice That’s Just Money,’ Makes People Fall in Love on Idol (VIDEO)
Sam Woolf was a standout performer on Wednesday’s “American Idol.”
The 17-year-old singer, just accepted into the Berkley College of Music, amazed the judges and audience with “Babylon” by David Gray.
Keith Urban told him afterward, “The people like you, Sam, and with good reason. You have that voice that’s just money.”
“Sam, you have such a sweet quality to you. It’s no surprise to me everyone’s already fallen in love with you. Your heart and your soul really comes through,” Jennifer Lopez said.
She went on to commend Woolf’s pitch, and said the performance “was a perfect representation of who you are.”
Harry Connick Jr. agreed, calling the song a “great choice.”
