Angelina Jolie ‘Salt’ Sequel in the Works

A sequel to the Angelina Jolie hit Salt is in the works, with the actress interested in reprising her role as butt-kicking spy Evelyn Salt.

Sony has ordered a script for a new Salt movie, and work on the story has begun already, reports Deadline.

The first movie’s plot left open the possibility for a sequel.

It opened last summer to a strong box office and wound up earning more than $300 million worldwide.

    Hopefully she gains some weight because she was so thin in the first one she looked ill. I’m a big Alias fan so any type of female spy movie is right up my alley.
