Sadie Robertson Dances With Her Duck Dynasty Uncles On Dancing With The Stars (VIDEO)
Sadie Robertson and her partner Mark Ballas were joined by the “Duck Dynasty” star’s uncles Si, Willie, Jase, and Jep during her performance of the samba on Monday’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
Robertson, who dressed in camouflage to honor her family, remembered the year “Duck Dynasty” premiered. “I was 14 and I didn’t realize how big it was going to be,” she told the cameras. “It was like a phenomenon. It was crazy. I remember the first time somebody asked for my autograph and I thought it was so cool.”
She noted that there are “definitely some bad things about being in the public eye. Everybody knows who you are and they are looking for you to mess up.” Robertson recalled the time her grandfather Phil Robertson was under fire for “saying some things that upset some people.” She explained that it was a tough time, but her grandfather is family and “family sticks together.”
After her dance tribute to her family, Carrie Ann Inaba told Robertson she had “by far the best samba” of the night, calling the performance “Ducks Gone Wild.” Bruno Tonioli proclaimed, “It was like Natalie Portman in Black Swan.” Julianne Hough said the dance was the perfect combination of content and concept. For her efforts, Robertson and Ballas earned an impressive score of 37 out of 40. Check out the video below, and tell us what you think!
