WATCH: Sadie Robertson & Derek Hough Get Top Score on Dancing With The Stars Switch-Up!
Sadie Roberston and new partner Derek Hough danced the Charleston on the “Dancing With the Stars” “Switch-Up” on Monday, and nabbed the week’s highest score.
Like last year’s first-ever “Switch-Up,” the one-week only special round pairs the celebrity contestants with new pro partners. As Gossip Cop reported, Robertson was matched with Hough, while his dancer Bethany Mota was paired with Robertson’s normal partner Mark Ballas.
Robertson channeled her inner flapper for the high energy routine set to Cheryl Cole’s “Crazy Stupid Love.” The pairing worked out quite well for Robertson, who had the night’s highest score, with a 36 out of 40. The “Duck Dynasty” star received a 9 from each judge, including guest judge Jessie J. She called the performance “real clean,” noting, “You were just on point.”
“That was so great,” said Julianne Hough, while Bruno Tonioli felt the routine was “spot-on” and “beautiful.” And Carrie Ann Inaba raved how the pair’s Charleston was simply “magnificent.”
Hough has always been the dancing pro to beat. He has won the show’s Mirror Ball trophy five times! But how will Robertson perform when she goes back to working with Ballas?
