Sacha Baron Cohen, as “The Dictator,” spilled Kim Jong Il‘s “ashes” all over Ryan Seacrest on the Oscars red carpet Sunday evening.

Seacrest was not pleased.

Ahead of Sunday’s big night, Academy Award organizers were wary of allowing Baron Cohen to pull a red carpet stunt as his “General Aladeen” character.

We’re not sure how they’ll feel about this.

    That is stupid and rude. He also looks like an idiot dressed liked that. When he did this kind of promotion for his earlier movies it was funny and creative. Now it seems forced. We know he has a new movie coming out. The people that are going to go see his movies will go anyway. This behavior is not going to encourage anyone else to go. Save the act for MTV award shows.

    In the end, they are nothing more than entertainers. They aren’t heroes or intellects. They simply entertain. And I thought this was very chuckle worthy. Ryan has a great sense of humor and I hope that he will, if he hasn’t already, see the humor in this.

    i really think they should have kept the ban of sasha baron cohen. this was not funny, it was just rude and i think that they should have brough the so called ‘dictator’ away from the RC and not allow him to attend the awards at all!! i am not a fan of ryan.. but this was too much!!

    Almost as classless as the plethora of trashy programs Seacrest is responsible for foisting on the American audience. He is a purveyor of garbage, responsible for the progressive dumbing down of Americans. His products have absolutely no redeeming social value. He should be ashamed. His parents should be ashamed. But… I’m sure the guy loses not one wink of sleep over it, laughing all the way to the bank. Now, that’s classless.
