Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool Spoofs Kanye West’s “SNL” Rant — WATCH!
As Gossip Cop reported, on Wednesday expletive-laden audio leaked of West going on a massive rant backstage at “Saturday Night Live” last weekend. The rapper, apparently upset about a change made to his performance set, went off on a tirade about being famous and influential. West dissed Taylor Swift, made bizarre pop culture references, and ripped “SNL” to shreds.
Later in the week, a petition for Reynolds’ Deadpool character to host “Saturday Night Live” amassed thousands and thousands of signatures. With record-breaking box office success and a strong fan following, many thought the “Merc With a Mouth” would make a hilarious host. Now Reynolds has combined the two things, West’s rant and the new petition, into a hysterical parody.
The actor tweeted, “Actually DEADPOOL was going to host back in the 90s, but then this happened. Thank god Tom Hanks was available.” Accompanying the message was a video and audio track of Deadpool’s own “SNL” rant, which perfectly spoofed many of West’s comments. While references to Swift and The Life Of Pablo were left in, Reynolds funnily said, “I’m 10 percent more influential than Barbara Bush, the Muppets, Bob Newhart.”
For effect, Reynolds also kept in the f-bombs and the grunts. No response from West yet, but this could kick off the most unlikely beef of all time. Check out the clip below!
