Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Secretly Married?

A number of outlets are spreading the rumor that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively might be secretly married.

The speculation comes after TMZ published a portion of a July 8 police report from Bedford Hills, New York, where the couple was reportedly followed by a photographer, leading Reynolds to contact the cops.

In the report, the officer, who refers to the woman with Reynolds as his “wife.”

TMZ notes that the cop’s word choice was probably a mistake.

But unreliable outlets such as HollywoodLife and Perez Hilton seized on the story and posted their own versions speculating that Lively and Reynolds are secretly married.

It’s 100% not true.

Multiple sources close to the situation tell Gossip Cop the couple is absolutely not married.

As much fun as it is for Perez and others to think they unearthed some big Hollywood secret, it’s just an error on a police report and nothing more.

    Nope. Hilton’s site not only implies marriage but adds on that a baby is on the way.
    Dunno how Hilton was noting ‘a misunderstanding’ when he was actually piling on the rumors

    Hilton implies marriage the same way TMZ, stating the facts and adding on speculation from said facts (a gossip site speculation? wow…) But this site just likes to furiously jerk it to Perez.

    How in the world can you confirm this as false when so far only “sources” are denying it — not even the reps! And the cops won’t comment, either…. If they’ve been hiding it for a while, of course sources are going to deny it. Geez, you condemn other sites for being reliable yet your proof is anonymous sources… what a joke you are!

    who cares if they are married or expecting a child it’s none of the publics business. if they are married they’ll be divorced in 5 years anyway as most hollywood marriages are though there are exceptions to that rule Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward for example if he were still alive would be married 55 years in January though he always said that they were total opposites

    The fact that neither People nor US Weekly have the story on their sites some 5 hours after the TMZ report says it all.
    If it were true it would not be difficult for either of these publications with their vast resources to find the marriage license somewhere.

    Before my husband and I were actually married, we would sometimes refer to the other as husband or wife. Sometimes saying the word “girlfriend” just doesn’t stress the seriousness.

    Hilton’s site implies the same thing as TMZ does. GossipCop only calls Perez out bc the owner of the site is furiously jerking it to him.
