Ryan Lochte “Dancing With The Stars” Elimination Interview On “GMA” (VIDEO)
Ryan Lochte appeared live on Tuesday’s “GMA” just hours after his “Dancing with the Stars” elimination. Watch below.
As Gossip Cop reported, Lochte and partner Cheryl Burke were eliminated from “DWTS” on Monday night after weeks of largely disappointing scores. Following the broadcast, they flew from Los Angeles to New York in order to be on “Good Morning America” bright and early. There, they sat down outside in Times Square for an interview with Lara Spencer and George Stephanopoulos.
Asked right off the bat what he’s “learned” from the ABC ballroom competition, Lochte answered, “No matter how hard I get knocked down, I can still get up and keep fighting, just keep moving and staying positive… I did get knocked down. I was at the lowest point in my life. But, I mean, I’m here. I lasted til week eight.”
Lochte and Burke were visibly moved when they were shown a video message from his mom, who noted she “can’t wait” to see him dance at his wedding. The swimmer admitted he and fiancée Kayla Rae Reid haven’t had time to work on plans due to the time commitment involved with “Dancing with the Stars,” but he welcomed the idea of Burke choreographing a special dance.
“Just give me a month off,” the pro joked, before going on to say, “It was really nice getting to know the real Ryan Lochte.” Burke even said the Olympian is now one of her “top five” favorite partners in 19 seasons. Check out the video below!
