Ryan Kwanten of True Blood Turned Away From Oscars After-Party (VIDEO)

Ryan Kwanten attended two of the biggest Oscar parties on Sunday — but shockingly got turned away by a third bash.

The “True Blood” star started his evening at Elton John’s annual star-studded Academy Awards viewing party, before moving on to the ultra-exclusive Vanity Fair gala.

But when Kwanten arrived at the West Hollywood hotspot Craig’s, he was denied entrance, even after explaining to the security guards that he was personally invited and even got someone on the phone to vouch for him.

Thankfully, the actor seemed to take the embarrassing moment in stride.

    Finally someone actually doing their job. Ryan wasn’t on the list, so he wasn’t let in. This doorman deserves a raise.

    How was the doorman a “douche”. The guys kept going through names of people they said invited them starting with the name of the restaurant and then went on to say Stacey Keebler and then George Clooney. They were obviously not invited, so why let them in?

    as you pointed out, Ryan wasn’t doing that, but his “guy friend” was being an arrogant jerk about the whole thing.

    we do have TV sets, but he also showed up with a total nobody who was doing all the talking and being a jerk…maybe that’s why he didn’t get in even though he wasn’t invited.

    you can’t lie to a bouncer and rattle off 3 different people as being the one person who invited you and then expect to be let in, especially when the nobody of the group is the one doing all the talking and then being a jerk.
