Okay lets say he wasn’t drunk/buzz while driving. Police are saying that speed had something to do with it. My issue is the fact that everyone is like poor him. However, what about his passenger. He was only 30, just recently got married and served in the army. I feel bad for just him and his family. If he would have just killed himself, then I wouldn’t be bothered by it. Where does it say that this page is for mourning a death or two? There is never an excuse for drunk driving. Just because lots of people do it doesn’t make it right, it makes them stupid and dangerous. There are photos of Ryan drunk in a bar with friends taken two hours before the accident. The cops can say that speed was involved in the crash, but he wouldn’t have been speeding if he wasn’t drunk. Alcohol impairs response time and judgment. I wouldn’t be surprised if the bar is sued for serving him and then letting him get behind the wheel of his car.

His family should count themselves lucky he only killed his passenger. It’s possible that he could have hit a mini van filled with a family of six, it wouldn’t be the first time a stupid drunk driver had killed many innocent people. His lack of respect for human life is what eventually killed him– mourn that. And get of Roger Ebert’s back, he was right.

There are photos of him drinking in a bar right before the accident, supposedly 3 beers and 3 shots. That probably qualifies him as drunk. Maybe the cops are not treating it as a DUI because of the condition of the body. It’s pretty hard to do a blood alcohol test on a burned body, isn’t it? Impossible, really. It’s sad that poor decision making resulted in this incident. What a waste of a life. 23 driving citations in the past 13 years to include a previous DUI. According to PA Coroners Office, Dunn’s blood-alcohol level was 0.196 at the time of the crash early Monday morning. The legal limit for drivers in the state is .08., over twice the legal limit and it was alleged he was traveling at approximately 130 mph! According to news reports out of West Chester, the 3rd drinker with Dunn that night told reporters that he had drank the same as Dunn and was “So wasted” that he could not drive and passed out in his car. Dunn and the passenger (Who made the choice to ride with him), made a very stupid decision. Thankfully, no “innocent people” sharing the road that night were hurt or killed.
