Russell Crowe Starring in Noah’s Ark Film

Russell Crowe is heading back to biblical times.

The actor has officially signed on to star in Noah, the upcoming Darren Aronofsky film about the story of Noah’s Ark.

“I’d like to thank Paramount and Regency for backing my team’s work to breathe new life into the biblical epic,” says Aronofsky in a statement.

The Black Swan director continues, “I rejoice that Russell Crowe will be by my side on this adventure. It’s his immense talent that helps me to sleep at night. I look forward to being wowed by him every day.”

The movie, which will begin filming this summer, is already slated to be released on March 28, 2014.

    In keeping with the true biblical account of the bible, remember the “creeping things” are in fact dinosaurs!! and they are should only be young ones- about “teen-age” so to speak, well you wouldnt take an old dinosaur on the ark would you!!!! God bless you Russell

    If Noah was a real person, The Dinosaurs would have been extinct already, by millions of years.
    A friend of mine is on the building crew working on the ark. Its being built in a huge warehouse in
    NY. I saw the working drawings and blue prints. There is another one being built outdoors for the outdoor scenes. It actually is a metal sub structure to be covered in styrofoam logs. And its really big. Fascinating to see how these things look before they are filmed.
