Are Russell Crowe and Natalie Imbruglia a “new couple”?

Perez Hilton thinks so, picking up a report from the British press that claims the Les Miserables actor and the singer were “flirting up a storm” at a party last month and then “showed their blushing faces together” at the Beverly Hills Hotel during Oscars weekend.

“They were all over one another and doing little to hide their flirting,” the blogger quotes an “eyewitness” as saying.

The supposed spy adds, “They were being really playful and jokey with one another. You could see they really hit it off.”

Perez says of Crowe, “Before Natalie came along, he was linked with Dita Von Teese, but it seems that rumor was just a smelly pile of bullshizz!”

Yes, it was.

And so is this false report.

“I am not having an affair with nor am I dating Natalie Imbruglia,” tweeted Crowe on Thursday, responding to tabloid rumors. “She has been a friend for years. No flirting, no whispers, total BULLSH*T.”
