Russell Brand Returning to Radio

Russell Brand is going back on the air.

Two years after the comedian split the BBC amid scandal, Brand is set to host a new Saturday night radio talk show on national network TalkSport.

Brand’s BBC career ended in controversy after he and partner in mischief Jonathan Ross broadcast a segment in which they left obscene voicemail messages for actor Andrew Sachs.

Ross and Noel Gallagher of Oasis are among the expected guests on Brand’s new program.

Back in the United States, Brand is awaiting a court date after aggressively defending girlfriend Katy Perry from paparazzi at LAX airport.
