Russell Brand appears on Thursday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where the actor-comedian opens up about his divorce from Katy Perry and hangs out with DeGeneres mascots Sophia Grace and Rosie.

Of his ex, Brand says, “I love her as a human being, but sometimes when you’re in a relationship, I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything.”

He adds, “I was very happy to be married with her. She’s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her.”

Sophia Grace and Rosie, the adorable, tutu-wearing twosome DeGeneres often brings out to chat and sing, happen to hail from Essex, England — just like Brand.

The actor said he’d love to babysit the pair, although he’d probably need Rosie’s help in keeping Sophia Grace under control.
