“Sacha Baron Cohen and his longtime love Isla Fisher are finally going to say ‘I Do’ this month,” reports Hollyscoop.
According to the blog, the couple “sent out party invites asking guests to keep February 26 free, but the invite didn’t include any further details.”
Hollyscoop actually lifted its info from the Daily Mail, which quoted a source hedging, “Sacha and Isla are throwing a party. They have asked everyone to come in fancy dress… They haven’t told the guests it’s a wedding but that’s what we all suspect.”
And while the Dail Mail has a source “suspect” it’s a wedding, Hollyscoop took it further to declare that they’re “finally going to say ‘I Do’ this month.”
Hollyscoop goes on to write that Cohen and the “Wedding Crashers” star “have a two-year-old daughter together, so tying the knot seems to be the next step for these two.”
Or…
Maybe, as is the case here, the couple is throwing a Purim party to coincide with the Jewish holiday, which falls on February 26, and is typically celebrated with a festive meal, dressing up, and loads of revelry.
In fact, a rep for Cohen confirms to Gossip Cop, “They’re having a Purim party. That is all.”
Oy, such bad reporting.

To be fair, it is not unheard for a party in Hollywood to turn into a wedding. Just because Sasha’s rep says it is just a party doesn’t mean it won’t turn into a wedding. Sasha and Isla are so fiercely private. Having a party that ends up turning into a wedding is right up their alley.
Are you friends with them? How do you know what’s up their alley? Not only do I believe Gossip Cop looked into it, but it also doesn’t make sense, especially since the party’s planned on a Jewish holiday and every year there are pics of Ashton and Demi dressed up at parties for that holiday. Think you’re wrong, but if you know better let us know.
