Rumor about Rumer Willis engagement ‘not true’

“WTF? Rumer Willis Is Engaged?” reads the latest misfire by Perez Hilton.
The bad blogger writes, “Rumer Willis is apparently ‘rumored’ to be engaged to her boyfriend Micah Alberti, and the two could be married as early as June!!”
He then quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “I know they already have gone ring-shopping.”
Of course, the Rumer engagement rumor got picked up by all the usual suspects, who similarly didn’t bother to fact-check.
So how rock solid is this ring-shopping and engaged story?
Not at all.
A rep for the actress tells Gossip Cop the rumor is “not true,” adding, “She is not engaged.”
