Rosie Perez: Lifetime Whitney Houston Movie “Must Have Killed” Bobbi Kristina Brown – WATCH VIDEO
Rosie Perez returned to “The View” on Tuesday, and when the subject of Bobbi Kristina Brown came up, the co-host unwisely said that Lifetime’s recent “unauthorized bio of her mom [Whitney Houston] must have killed her” (video below). As Gossip Cop has previously reported, Brown is in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator, after being found unconscious in her bathtub on Saturday. Her rep told Gossip Cop on Monday that the 21-year-old is is “fighting for her life.”
To Perez’s credit, she quickly realized her poor choice of words, noting, “That was a terrible phrasing. Let me take that back.” She added, “It must have really hurt her deeply to watch that. We forget that these people are human beings… We put them into the tabloids, and we forget we’re human beings.” Perez received a round of applause for her comments.
Brown was discovered by her husband Nick Gordon and a pal Max Lomas, who tried to revive her before emergency personnel arrived at her Roswell, Georgia home. Initially, it was reported that there were no drugs in the house, but now family members are claiming some substances were found inside the residence during a second search by the police.
Brown’s mom Whitney Houston died three years ago this month. On the eve of the Grammy Awards, the singing legend had overdosed on drugs before being discovered naked, face down in a tub in the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Check out the video below of Perez’s verbal gaffe and quick apology, and tell us what you think.
