Rosie O’Donnell Slams Stephen Collins: I’ll Say What Katie Couric Wouldn’t About You
Rosie O’Donnell slams her onetime friend Stephen Collins in a new blog post, ripping into the disgraced “7th Heaven” star for his sexual abuse of children and opening up about her own lingering trauma from an abusive childhood. In a recent interview with Katie Couric, Collins admitted to inappropriate sexual contact with multiple young girls. Many viewers felt Collins, while contrite, doesn’t really seem to grasp the severity of his crimes. In her post, O’Donnell was merciless.
The “View” co-host reflected on her fond memories of Collins from her old 1990s talk show before getting into his shocking scandal. O’Donnell criticizes Couric for letting Collins off the hook, and delves into how the abuses she endured as a child still affect her to this day. Read what O’Donnell said below, and tell us what you think.
