REPORT: Roseanne Barr Developing New Sitcom “Downwardly Mobile”

Roseanne Barr is reportedly working on a comeback sitcom called “Downwardly Mobile.”

The show, about a blue-collar family in tough times, is aimed at many of the same themes explored in “Roseanne,” Barr’s hugely successful 1990s ABC series, according to THR.

“Downwardly Mobile” is not yet attached to any network.

The outspoken Barr currently stars on “Roseanne’s Nuts,” a reality program that follows her experiences running a macadamia nut farm in Hawaii.

Last week, she announced her presidential “candidacy” on “The Tonight Show.”
