The 2015 Rose Bowl Parade, also known as the Tournament of Roses Parade, takes place on Thursday. Gossip Cop has a live stream below!

The annual New Year’s Day event, now in its 126th year, is once again taking over the streets of Pasadena, California. This year’s theme is “Inspiring Stories.” There will be more than 40 floats, 20 bands, and an estimated 400 horses along the route. It’s a 5.5 mile trek that takes about two hours to complete.

New this year will be a float from “The Bachelor” featuring the new season’s star Chris Soules, past winners, fan favorites, and host Chris Harrison. The reality competition, of course, is a show that, of course, knows a thing or two about roses. The late Louis Zamperini was announced as the 2015 Grand Marshal last May. Following his death in July, organizers said the Olympic medalist turned war hero would still hold the role posthumously, noting he was the “embodiment” of the “Inspiring Stories” theme and deserved to be “honored.”

The parade dates back to 1890, more than 10 years before the first Rose Bowl football game. It’s become a January 1st tradition for spectators to take in the flower-filled floats and Tournament of Roses queen and royal court, with millions watching on television at home.

Hours after the parade, the 101st Rose Bowl Game will be held at (where else?) the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. This year’s matchup is the Florida State Seminoles versus the Oregon Ducks. Prior to kickoff, the marching bands for both teams will join the parade, along with floats representing each school.
