Rosario Dawson Talks “Marvel” Universe, “Star Wars” On “GMA” (VIDEO)
Rosario Dawson appeared on Friday’s “Good Morning America,” where she opened up about her role as Claire Temple in Marvel’s “Daredevil” and spoke about wanting to be in a future Star Wars movie. Watch the full interview below!
The actress sat down with the “GMA” panel during a live segment on the morning show and discussed an online petition to have her cast in a Star Wars film and being part of the Marvel universe. When Michael Strahan asked if she was aware of other Marvel universe events, Dawson said, “They don’t tell you anything. It’s really interesting. Normally doing film, you get a script and you know exactly what you’re doing.” The actress continued, “With this, I said yes, I’m playing Claire Temple in ‘Daredevil,’ and five shows later I’m in China. I had no idea that’s what I was signing up for.”
Dawson went on to talk about her dream of being in a future Star Wars film. “There’s a whole campaign that’s going on online to try to get me in Star Wars, which would be amazing,” she said. “Star Wars follows you on Twitter,” Strahan noted, prompting an excited Dawson to shout, “I know! I think this is a good sign. Internet, help me out!”
The actress then spoke briefly about her upcoming action-packed film, Unforgettable. After the morning show shared an intense clip from the movie, Dawson referred to co-star Katherine Heigl as an “incredible” woman. Watch Dawson’s full “GMA” interview below.
