“Jersey Shore” couple Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro have split, Gossip Cop confirms.

A source close to the show tells us they’ve been broken up for about a week.

“It’s been a roller coaster,” the source tells Gossip Cop about the couple’s on-again, off-again relationship.

The volatile Sammi-Ronnie romance has figured prominently in “Jersey Shore” drama since its 2009 premiere.

Last week’s Season 3 premiere drew a staggering 8.5 million viewers to MTV.
