“True Blood” Stars Vamp it Up on Rolling Stone Cover

For its September 2 cover, Rolling Stone features three of the stars of HBO’s hit vampire series, “True Blood,” totally stripped and strewn with blood above the headline, “True Blood: They’re Hot, They’re Sexy, They’re Undead.”

But do the bloody bodies of Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer leave you in shock or in awe?

    BLOODY FANTASTIC !!!!!… :D

    I’m loving this cover… It IS shocking and pretty gross, as I agreed with someone I was discussing this with… but it was the idea… it comes down to the fact that it IS True Blood… With the kind of series that True Bood is (ie, sexy, sensual, hot, bloooooooood), what else would you expect when you add Rolling Stone to the equation?…

    And what I like the most, is that their eyes (of them three) are so effing deep in this picture, that it totally captures mine… I’m really liking it!… :D… Who was the photographer here, you know GC?…

    MissZee yes True Blood is for adults but you don’t need to do trashy controversial photo shoots to be sexy. And the show does have nudity and lots of blood but it’s ridiculous they have to do that in a magazines do read. And I’m fine with nudity but this isn’t the right place and time. Plus they aren’t hot but that’s just me.
    And Suefromnc I’m glad Twilight isn’t like this I adore that story for it’s difference and sensuality. And Alan Ball can suck a big one for talking crap. Who the hell is he to crap on someone elses opinions and creativity ?

    Have no patience for Twilight. I love the cover. This isn’t the first time that Rolling Stone has had nudes on the cover and it won’t be the last. Of course they used the “blood”. What’s the problem? The show is known for its over the top violence (still much less than Showtime’s Spartacus had) and wry humor. Everyone knows that isn’t reall blood…what’s the big deal? Besides, those are three GORGEOUS bodies!
