Rocco Ritchie Did NOT Call Madonna “Bitch” On Instagram, Despite Reports
Rocco Ritchie did not call himself a “son of a bitch,” in reference to his estranged mother Madonna, despite a spate of inaccurate reports. A slew of tabloids and webloids wrongly claimed Ritchie posted on his Instagram bio that he’s a “son of a bitch,” with many embellishing details about how Madonna reacted. But Gossip Cop can exclusively report that the Instagram account 100 percent does not belong to Ritchie. A rep for Madonna confirms to us it’s not the 15-year-old’s Instagram.
According to an inaccurate Daily Mail story, after Ritchie supposedly “branded her a bitch,” Madonna was “devastated.” The tabloid even quotes a so-called “source close to the singer” saying, “Comments like this show he’s in a delicate place and highlights the fact he needs to be in an equally supportive relationship with both parents.”
Meanwhile, the repeatedly discredited HollywoodLife similarly claimed Ritchie “slams mom Madonna on Instagram,” and that his alleged bio posted on the social media site has “absolutely destroyed” his mother. After noting Ritchie’s comment was a “horrific insult,” the unreliable website added that in the custody battle between Guy Ritchie and Madonna, “It’s clear where Rocco stands if this is what he’s saying about his mother! Ouch.”
What’s clear is that a number of media outlets don’t have good sources, and often publish fiction over facts. Regardless, Madonna’s rep confirms to Gossip Cop the Instagram account doesn’t belong to Rocco Ritchie. In fact, late on Sunday, that fake account posted in its bio description, “Notwhouthinkiam. News be Trippen. I’m loling. I’m not even Rocco.” See the two posts to the phony Rocco Ritchie Instagram account below.
