Roberto Martinez will reportedly be the next star of “The Bachelor.”

The insurance agent and onetime fiancé of “Bachelorette” Ali Fedotowsky is supposedly set to hand out the roses when the hit dating show returns, according to Life & Style.

When Gossip Cop sought confirmation from ABC, the network declined to comment.

Martinez and Fedotowsky became engaged in 2010 on the sixth season finale of “The Bachelorette” but broke up in November 2011.

    Ohhhhh yessss! Roberto would make a great bachelor. If they are trying to change their image, as they seem to be doing with Emily, Roberto would be great! He is gorgeous and seemed like such a sweetheart! I realize no one really knows what goes on behind closed doors, but he sure made a good impression on Ali’s Bachelorette show.

    No, it’s time to stop recycling the broken hearted. Let’s start with someone new with no history at all. If they want to recycle a few of the lesser known girls who weren’t selected, that would be ok, but the bachelor should be someone new. If Arie hasn’t found love by next year, they should bring him back.
