Kellan Lutz sent a Twitter message to Robert Pattinson on Tuesday, complimenting his Twilight co-star’s single from the film’s soundtrack, and imploring the actor to “put more music out!”

“Had this beautiful song pop up on shuffle,” Lutz wrote along with a cover photo of Pattinson’s track “Never Think.” “Rob, brother, put more music out for the world to listen to!” Also featured on the Twilight soundtrack is Pattinson’s single “Let Me Sign.” The actor, who noted in an interview with the Los Angeles Times that “music is my backup plan if acting fails,” also performed three original songs for the 2008 film How to Be.

As Gossip Cop reported, Lutz spoke about Pattinson in an interview just last month, admitting to “Entertainment Tonight”that he doubts he’ll be invited to his former co-star’s wedding to fiancee FKA Twigs. Lutz explained that Pattinson is a very “private” person and “super selective,” but added, “I might text him… and say, ‘Hey, if you’re ever thinking about tying the knot, you better make sure I’m there.'”

Pattinson hasn’t released any new music in quite some time, but there’s always a chance he’ll take Lutz’s suggestion to heart and reignite his singing career.
