But it could be his clothes–he was wearing looser, baggier, more casual attire, and that silly hat was about a size too large for his head, making him look for all the world like a little boy.   It could also be the lighting. It’s surprising how much lights and cameras can make things look weird, even when you’re standing in the studio in front of monitors and you can SEE the difference.

  Last night my bff and I were watching movies and popped in BD1, the first time since the scandal broke. Remember when Jacob sees Bella pregnant for the first time? He lunges at Edward, growling YOU did this! My bff and I looked at each other and in unison said: “uh, Not necessarily” and then literally rolled laughing. It was quite awhile before we could stop.

  Now, before you say it neither of us were Team anybody, we have no trouble knowing that these are fictional characters; but in the wake of this scandal that was our immediate reaction. We discussed for quite a while how it will go down in theaters when a scene (post scandal) strikes a chord such as this. But he did say the Twi movies were a large chunk of his young life and he will look back on them as a nice memory which is a sweet thing to say considering how roughly it ended for everyone concerned (costars, kids, producers, fans) outside of their own selves.

  This is not a comment necessarily just about this particual story but about this whole “scandal”.
  I do not care who gets mad at this or who agrees with me. You are more than free to comment if you do agree or even if you do not agree since everyone is entitled to their own opinion however I do not think that entitles you to be rude. About this “scandal” I have seen some of the rudest, and not just directed AT Kristen Stewart but TO each other, comments. It seems that you feel entitled to be rude to people who do not have the same views on this as YOU do.

  I have also seen very judgemental comments, directed at a woman that you do not know. For those make the judgemental comments, it must be nice to be so perfect that you have never in your WHOLE life made a mistake, a lapse in judgement, a bad decision or whatever you want to call it. It must be so nice to be SO PERFECT that you have the right to sit in judgement of another person. I am not a perfect person so I will not judge her, but I will say that what she did was wrong.

  I cannot believe that so many of you feel that you have the right to tell a 26 year old man, a man who is a STRANGER to most of the world, how he should handle this situation. You seem to be telling him how he should feel, what he should think and what he should do.

  What should Robert Pattinson do? The answer to that is he should do whatever makes HIM happy. He should do what HIS heart and HIS mind tell him to do. If that is completely breaking up with Kristen Stewart then so be it, if that is forgiving her and taking her back then so be it.

  The decision is HIS and HIS alone. There are 2 people that are going to be affected by whatever decision HE makes and those 2 people are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and not Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and, as many of you seem to think, the rest of the world.

  My other problem with the Foster piece is that she completely neglects to acknowledge that celebrities (actors, musicians, athletes, celebutants) often participate in the making of their own celebrity (via publicists, tips to paps, etc.) in order to become and/or stay relevant. Yes, fans need to become less invested in their favorite stars’ private lives. Yes, more stringent laws need to be enacted to protect people against invasive paparazzi.   Thanks to go on to write here… sometimes it´s hard to read a lot of comments so hatred gainst a girl who do not know.

  More time passes and increasingly admire Kristen Stewart … the girl that have to pass I did not even want to imagine … too much suffering and especially publicly.

  Everyone can have an opinion about an actress, if she act good, bad or average, but those insults which has taken no concrete reason is unacceptable.

  Okay, she has cheated on her boyfriend … but that gives us the right to be so?

  They, like me Robert and Kristen as actors I have appreciated more in the movies who are not from the franchise, I have seen all the Twilight movies, especially to see reflected in the screen all I read in books, movies clearly not be worthy of an Oscar but have a good time and that’s the movies, entertainment … as a person, what you see ithem in interviews, I look good guys, mature, each with its own style and in my opinion were a cute couple, were one of the few couples who actually saw at a glance that was no connection, chemical and complicity.

  They can do what they want, they get back together or separate … from what I saw after these years together, it shows the love they professed, and would be a shame to leave behind those years shared many things together to see that a couple can not resolve a problem.

  A couple life is not easy, a relationship does not come with an instruction book and also if you are in the crosshairs of media as it makes it more difficult and no matter if they are young, rich and famous, inside doors, we are all equal.

  I just hope things calm down for them … they need it … Rob, so brave, he faced the press so great after all and now is Kristen. Hopefully in Toronto, people are at least respectful. Has already paid her mistake and do more damage free is consider a bad person. I hope that when she will go out, she will do with the head high and with renewed strength, the rest to be settled privately.

  Anyway, I have hope for this couple who has been criticized for so long and often.

  I love watching Josh and Rob speak together. It is such a bromance. They are like buddies from way back when. Rob seems so relaxed and lets out little nuggets, maybe some I did not need to know, but Josh can bring that out of Rob while not focusing on his love life. I love the stories of him shooting a gun at the LAPD shooting range and peeing in a limo. I would have never expected any of this from Rob. A funny and a bit insightful interview.

  Good point and probably not. But it was reported that, at the London premiere of BD1, a woman (an overzealous fan of Rob) tweeted that she was going to stab Kristen. And she was adamant about it. Other fans reported this to the authorities. They found her and removed her from the premises. And she DID have a knife — according to the report. It was said that when they did the line to sign autographs that both Taylor and Rob went with her as a buffer.

  Martin has a point. She’s getting the lion’s share of the attention is that she’s more famous. She’s the one that’s going to get the headline. Period.

  I don’t agree with the assessment that he’s her boss so she’s being taken advantage of. She’s the one with star power in Hollywood. And let’s not forget, she’s the one who went to pick him up not the other way around. She had the choice to not do that. She could’ve refused to pick him up but she didn’t. Again, it comes down to choice and she made hers.

  The only difference is that Sienna didn’t cheat on anyone when she had her affair. She was free and clear. Kristen cheated AND was a homewrecker, thus the heat she’s taking now. On top of that she was in a really high-profile relationship with an equally famous guy whom everyone agrees is a really nice, decent person. She set herself up for a world of hurt.

  Maybe Stewart was really being herself when she got caught. As you said, publicists construct an image of a celebrity to put in front of the world. What a star is really like behind the facade is could be completely different from what they push to the public. Following that line of thought, this might be the cause of all the hate. The general public hates when they’re being lied to and even more so, hypocrisy. Stewart has always trumpeted on about how she did whatever she want as long as it came from a place of honesty…and yet she lied to her boyfriend for weeks. She long extolled the idea to not be an asshole. Yet she publically humiliated Pattinson and Liberty Ross. The list goes on.

Let her work it out with Robert or just herself if that’s the case…… Via a Fox News Article~~ For the past couple of weeks the tabloid press has crucified actress Kristen Stewart, star of the blockbust “Twilight” movies for kissing her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director, Rupert Sanders. Stewart had been in a relationship with her “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson and fans of the series were devastated by the cheating revelation.

  While news of her indiscretion might have been a legitimate one-day story for the Hollywood press when it first happened, it certainly doesn’t fit the bill as a “matter of public concern,” that deserves extensive coverage.

  Not only is the media’s continued replay of Stewart’s mistake making it almost impossible for her to make up for what she’s done, it is probably placing additional stress on Sander’s marriage and continuing to embarrass his wife.

  It is also making it harder for Stewart’s boyfriend to take her back without feeling the continued sting of humiliation—if deep inside he’d like to give her a second chance.

  In addition to being presumptively portrayed as a ruthless home-wrecker who targeted her male prey, the extensive reporting has been completely imbalanced because it places all of the blame on Stewart and none on Sanders.

  Even Stewart has expressed surprise that Sanders has been essentially given what amounts to a hall pass by the media. Reports surfaced Thursday that Stewart has told people privately that she’s upset the media isn’t at least pointing out that Sanders was “in a position of power over her,” since he was her director, and presumably someone she could work for again.

  There’s a very specific reason Stewart is taking all of the heat, however, and it’s because tabloid journalism has a formula of almost always blaming ‘the other woman’ whenever a major male celebrity has an affair or commits an act of cheating.

  The tabloids have done their own studies based on week-to-week sales, which reveal that since most tabloid gossip readers are middle aged, married women, who prefer to read stories that blame the other woman instead of the cheating married man. That’s because these same readers are addicted to stories that target their own fears—and the idea of a younger woman coming along and stealing their own husband one day is a big one. And after reading about how awful someone else’s life is, they can breathe a sigh of relief and say to themselves, “Well, at least MY marriage isn’t THAT bad!”

  In the Stewart/Sanders story, even some mainstream media outlets have adopted the tabloid formula and blamed the actress for everything.

  A recent caption on an AOL News story literally blamed Stewart for “breaking up a marriage,” while the Huffington Post interviewed so-called ‘experts’ who said she actually—get this—made a “stupid” mistake by publicly apologizing for her indiscretion, thus committing “career suicide.”
  At least Stewart is trying to take responsibility for what she did, which is more than this reporter can say for most people, celebrity or not.

  The tabloid media persecution of Stewart will undoubtedly leave it’s mark on the young star as the tabs have done so many times to other public figures in the past.

  Tabloid persecution does more than just destroy personal relationships and break the spirits of their victims. In the end, it leaves the humiliated victim with a feeling of powerlessness despite whatever stardom they have achieved. It diminishes their legitimate talents and positive accomplishments to nothing while emphasizing a single mistake a person has made throughout their life.

  As Humphrey Bogart said in the 1951 classic, ‘Deadline U.S.A.’, “That’s the press baby. The press! And there’s nothing you can do about it. Nothing!”

  With the upcoming release of “Breaking Dawn 2,” the long anticipated final chapter of the ‘Twilight’ series, there is little chance that the media will let Stewart and Pattinson work this problem out on their own.

  Under the First Amendment, Kristen Stewart’s love life may be fair game, but there’s something else reporters should consider when they toy with the life of a human being, and that is compassion and fair play. The continued coverage of this story may actually be changing the outcome of these people’s lives and making it worse when there could be a chance for all of them to move past this incident.

  Tabloid journalists pointing the finger at a 22-year old woman for a mistake should remember that a kiss is just a kiss, and although sticks and stones may break bones, words… do permanent damage

  On the Daily Show, Pattinson had to remind Jon Stewart that he was there to promote Cosmopolis. Final statement of Jon Stewart. “Here’s my words for you – that you get to handle your business in private, in your personal life.”

  I believe Robert Pattinson was quite revealing on Good Morning America. After the weary look of the very first shot of him, and after the cereal fiasco, George Stephanopoulos asked Pattinson, “Is there any way you get used to all this (pointing to the fans)?”

  Robert replies, “If you’ve gotten used to it, it means you’ve gone crazy . . . it’s like being on a crazy theme park ride. It’s totally exciting but eventually you’ve got to have a break.”

  Stephanopoulos quotes something Robert said the say before: “The world would be a much better place if all these bankers and billionaires were followed by paparazzi.”

  To David Carr at Times Talk: “There’s this weird thing about accountability. I’m a private citizen. I don’t make any laws. If a bunch of people followed you around you would have them arrested.”

  LA Times: “Media culture is a monstrous thing. You can’t win. The annoying thing is that you can’t attack them, but you can’t defend yourself. The best thing you could possibly do is punch a paparazzi and give them their big payday.”

  Think he’s fed up?

  The way to end the instrusive media frenzy is to ‘punk’ the fan – not the media, not the paparazzi, not the tabloids, but the fan. The tabloids and paps only go after them because the fans want to see and read about them.

  So, stage a situation depicting the one thing Kristen could possibly do wrong: cheat on Rob. This would end the love affair the fans have with the love affair. Shock, Anger, Denial, Acceptance. I think we’re at the anger stage.

  Did Kristen have the assistance of Rob, Rupert Sanders and Liberty Ross (I’m putting the onus on her, because she’s the one in the photos and neither her nor Rupert have come out and yelled about the bogus pics)? Did she do it to grab some down time with Rob (this is certainly the romantic version, but may very well not be true)? Did she do it to shake herself once and for all of Robert and/or Twilight? By doing this in August, things would calm down enough for her to engage in BD2 promos.

  We may never know. Good. We don’t deserve to know.

  Perhaps I can be described as a “Twi-Mom.” I took my kids to the Barnes and Noble midnight purchase of Breaking Dawn. I bought all the books for them. I helped them dress up for one of the movies. I sat with them and watched Twilight. I took them to see Breaking Dawn.

  When the pictures were splashed over the mainstream, reporters, even on network, were yelling,”Kristen cheated on Rob!” My daughters went ballistic! The things they said about Kristen Stewart! So, I looked into the situation. And then I saw the photos.

  My daughters were right about one thing. It’s very easy to get sucked into the Twilight vortex.

  I never thought I would write this, but my heart breaks for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Not because Kristen may have hurt herself, not because she may have wronged him, but because, in a small way, I did.

  Time to stop posting and focus on other endeavors. End the relationship with these two people. We all know there is something wrong with the situation, but if this is a desperate attempt by her or them to get the attention off their private lives, we should do them the favor and leave them alone. Go see their moveis, and let that be the end of the love affair.
