A split was probably coming. He has all these movies lined up all over the world and is ready to move on. Maybe she was not part of the plans and snapped. I always thought that she had the stronger emotional investment in the relationship but it did not show publicly. He is older and has matured more while she is still young and doing stuff that he did at her age. It happens. Nonetheless, they have a strong bond and care for each other because they have been together for five years working and dating and all n the public eye. That’s a great accomplishment given that they were so young and the public obsession with them. Kristen can slowly go back to the career she was building prior to Twilight since she is after all passionate about her work, still has a strong fan base and seems wanting to explore other aspects of movie making. Rob is more passionate about acting now, also has tons of fans, and his music. They are talented and professional and have futures but may be better if they split. I like them both and hope they have great lives either together or apart.

It seems “off” because you don’t have all the info. None of us do. We’re cautious (well, most probably) which is understandable, so naturally anything that doesn’t make apparent sense will seem suspicious. I just think it’s unreasonable to believe she planned on breaking up with him so bought a house so closeby.

I think most people are upset because they were cheated on and they didn’t give their relationship another try. Now, they’re stuck with the thought of what might have been if they worked it out and forgave, but it’s too late. Their ex is now happy with a new love. And they hate Rob because unlike them, Rob worked it out with Kristen and is happy with her now.

I think most of those haters who experienced being cheated on absolved themselves of all responsibility and put all the blame on their straying partner. What they failed to realize is that a relationship is always about 2 people and their effect on each other. So if one strays, the other must think what drove the other person away. If Rob was willing to forgive, it must be because he knows he what caused Kristen to flip for a moment. And as much as he forgave Kristen, maybe he forgave himself too.

I tried to look for it, but couldn’t find it. It was released the week of all of this hoopla, in July. I remember it specifically because it screamed truth while everything else didn’t make any sense to me. Of course, the media has probably burried it because it was rather ‘rational’ compared to all of the other stories that were getting hits that week, Olympics and what not. I remember commenting on GC when I read it, but people were too submerged in “hating Kristen” to consider being rational for a minute…I do remember it was from the NY Times and released the week of all of this nosnense. Long story , but my son, actually works for , from time to time, a fairly famous musician and is good friends with him. So this guy in the Netherlands sees I am friends on FB with this fairly famous guy and friends me. I am really only friends with the famous musician because he is so good to my son ( that word humility again on the part of the musician ), My son is in a wheelchair but is very talented, plays five instruments, writes music, and has a degree in communications so this is how he is able to do work for his fairly famous friend , who also lives in the same town now as my son.

The pics were shocking to everyone, especially Rob who has suffered a lot and in the public arena. However, he has forgiven her. I doubt he has forgotten but neither has she. Most cheaters who repeat the offense can do that because their original actions were kept “in the family” mostly. Kristen has not only seen Robs hurt and humiliation in private from her actions (which I think she hadn’t thought through) but has also seen the public and press turn on her. She isn’t going to do anything to bring that venom on herself again and hurt Rob again. I feel she has definitely grown a lot from this and we’ll see less finger action in pics and maybe a happier disposition in public since Twi is ending and the press interest will decrease. Robs forgiveness has maybe come with reservation. I think they’re a “work in progress” hence two houses, but mostly living at hers. Rob’s not going to sell his until he can get a better price for it.
