Yes, there was some type of hater of Kris person at the London premiere. She (Kate McFaddison, either from Greece or studying there, not sure) had posted on Twitter many scary things like “going to slap her (Kristen) in the face at the London premiere, going to throw something in her face, etc.” She is obsessed with Rob P. Some of those posts were brought over to Ted C’s Awful Truth on E online. Kristen fans found out that she was at the London premiere in the front row (the girl posted a picture of herself) and quickly notified security and Summit. They asked for more info on the postings, got the quotes from the girls twitter and found her and escorted her out. This Kate person actually posted that she was kicked out and was proud of it. Then after a while she closed down her twitter. But many, many fans kept copies and sent them off to Summit. Kristen had 4 body guards around her all evening and they wouldn’t let her lean in to sign autographs but she managed to sign things anyway. It appeared that Rob stayed within 10 feet of Kristen all evening. Once this person was escorted out, it seemed like things lightened up. I don’t know what happened to this person. People did say that Rob and Kristen were aware of the threat, although I don’t know if that is actually true. The rest of it is. I’m surprised that Summit let Kristen walk the carpet anyway. I wonder what Rob thought of that decision. It seems like that person could be arrested for threatening harm to someone. Not sure how the London laws work. I wish Gossip Cop would look into this and not let it get brushed under the rug by Summit. There needs to be a warning for these crazies to stay away or they will get into trouble. Let’s not have another John Lennon type killing before something is done about this hateful people.

i actually couldn’t believe my eyes when i saw the video. so i paused it and zoomed in and they are definitely holding hands. and what teen choice awards are you talking about? kristen hasn’t been there since 2009 (i think). are you talking about the people’s choice awards? with that, the thing is, taylor escorted her up the stairs because it seems that kristen hates high heels (and going up steps with them on) and so taylor helped her. however, in ellen, there were no stairs and rob didn’t seem to mind her “clinginess”. if you call kristen clingy, then rob must be the same (case and point, his hand seems to be glued to her butt these days).

I watched Ellen with my own eyes and they weren’t “holding hands” when they came out, either. Rob was walking ahead or her, then he saw the stairs and knows that Kristen is clumsy and her ankle is already injured, so he offered her his hand to help her down the stairs. He let go as soon as she got to the main stage. You shippers always try to make something out of nothing. If he was really her boyfriend he would say so, not shake his head and say “Ridiculous.”

Because at this point in time after 2.5 years of seeing Rob and Kristen together in many non-work situations and having PDA, directors confirming it and 99% of the people believing they’re dating, it’s kind of sick the way there’s a small section of people who continue to deny it and as chelcp put it, spin lies such as making Rob out to be a douchebag who’s sleeping around when there’s been absolutely no evidence of it! What is all this mumble/jumble stuff? I watch everything possible about the Twilight stars & have never heard Robert say anything bad about Kristen. Actually, the latest I have heard is nothing but good things about her & her performance in BD, Part 1. I think a few of her co-stars are a bit crude about some of the things they say. One said in a short interview, Kristen is only interested in acting. Is this true? Who knows since there is so much junk out there about her & Robert. Yes. He offered her his hand to help her down the stairs and there was a slightly surprised look on her face and then she took it gratefully. As they entered the stage she “subtly” jerked her hand up out of his while Robert’s hand stayed open for a split second before he brought it down to his side. I think he really likes her and they probably had something going at one time, but I don’t think she’s into him as anything other than a friend right now. Rob seems very subdued (though I’m sure he’s very tired from promoting, so that could be the reason). She just may have an “English boyfriend” whom she doesn’t want to worry with her obviously very close relationship with Robert. If she really just wants to keep their “dating” relationship “private” I can understand but she supposedly spilled the beans so what’s the harm in showing just that little bit of TLC of prolonging a hand-hold after your SO helped you down the stairs? I have only commented on this Rob/Kristen relationship a couple of times in my life (just recently) and I have nowhere near the knowledge of all things Twilight that many of you guys seem to have, but I will say that from what I do know I can understand how I would be in their situation.

First off, there are all the Twilight fans who called Rob a gargoyle after he was picked for the part of Edward. Those fans wanted some shallow GQ model but Kristen doesn’t seem to go for that type. Then, after Rob was all prettied up for the movie and the chemistry between them e x p l o d e d off the screen, those very same fans wanted to live the fantasy that an Edward/Bella relationship was possible in the real world by projecting it onto Rob and Kristen. That’s when they started doing to Kristen’s boyfriend, Michael (who also seems to be a great guy just like Pattinson), what they had done to Rob. I don’t know what finally drove Stewart and Michael apart but she had said on several occasions before they split when asked about any chance of a relationship with Rob that Michael was awesome. I personally think those “fans” d e s t r o y e d what she had with him. Can you blame her for now wanting to keep her private life private? It seems to me that during the first few years of making and promoting these Twilight movies both Rob and Kristen said many times and in many ways that they were not together in that way but the “fans” refused to believe them.

Then came the Kristen lovers/h a t e r s and the Rob lovers/h a t e r s, all APPALLING (I’ve only recently been interested enough to read comments about these two and my jaw drops every time. Then there’s Summit, a fledgling movie studio that had produced about six flops up until that point and had no idea how big Twilight’s potential was. When you find yourself with a mon ster hit on your hands that cost about a buck fifty to make… well, I’m not saying they told these two to act like a couple for pr reasons, but if it began to dawn on them that a huge part of the Twilight fan base was so emotionally (and irrationally) invested in a Rob/Kristen/Edward/Bella relationship then maybe the policy to the cast and crew became “when asked, don’t tell”. That may be especially true after they sunk millions into the sequels. Sequels that, btw, got horrible reviews. Summit is a business, after all. They have tasted success and they don’t want it slipping through their fingers just because there is a large segment of the Twilight fan base that can’t tell fantasy from reality and who can’t just go to a movie and enjoy it for what it is. No, instead they think they can just plop down $8 and own the movie’s two VERY YOUNG stars.

The nonsten theory that Summit wanted Rob and Kristen to act like a couple for movie pr is totally wrong. Summit did NOT want Rob and Kristen to get involved with each other because of the potential for a nasty breakup. This excerpt is from Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey who confirmed they were dating back in July 2010 and was quoted saying the following in Time Magazine:

“I honestly don’t think of it in terms of business. It doesn’t affect our core business at all. The thing I do think about is, Oh my God, I hope they stay together. One of the fans that reported the girl that had threatened Kristen was at the London premiere. A you tube vid that I saw said that someone at the UK premiere had threatened to slit Kristen’s throat, which upset her (duh). Not sure if that’s true, either, but her bodyguard was sticking mighty close to her there (even when the three were together on the dais having photographs taken. The director Bill C had an interview with Rob and Stephanie, and he was talking about the Bella’s death and how Rob had to think in terms of losing Kristen..not Bella..Kristen. Stephanie was there as the scene was being filmed and said her and the rest of the crew had tears in their eyes watching Rob. Yes, we all know Twilight is a movie.
