“Robert Pattinson Gets In Bar Fight With Action Star Protecting Kristen Stewart!” screams a headline on HollywoodLife, which rarely bothers to fact-check.

According to the site, “Us Weekly reports that after actor Jason Statham hit on girlfriend Kristen at an LA bar, Rob stepped in.”

Next, HollywoodLife quotes a so-called “pal” as saying, “Jason is totally jacked and Rob is scrawny,… But Rob said, ‘I think you’ve had enough time with her.’ They got heated.”

Then, writes the site, “Luckily, bouncers stepped in before the situation got out of control.”

What’s really out of control is HollywoodLife’s reporting.

When did this “fight” occur?

At which bar in L.A. did this happen?

HollywoodLife doesn’t know.

When did Us Weekly claim this happened?

Here’s what HollywoodLife knows – NOTHING.

Pattinson hasn’t been in L.A. for a while now, and Statham’s rep tells Gossip Cop the actor isn’t in L.A. either – and this never happened.

    in addition to making up this bullshiz, HL also claims Us Weekly reported it. but Us Weekly NEVER reported that.

    do a simple google search. you won’t see an Us Weekly article on it. even go to Us’s website and do a search. i did.

    GC is 100 percent right when asking, when did Us Weekly ever report it. HL totally made up that Us Weekly reported it.

    That’s almost as bad as this crap – making it up and blaming it on another outlet.

    and think about it logically – no google needed – if Us Weekly make up this bullshiz, twihards would have already been up in their grills about it.

    Even if US weekly reported it first, shouldn’t other outlets check out the truth of the story before just reposting garbage. Let’s face it, anyone can say anything they want about anybody, that doesn’t make it the truth, it just makes us stupid if we believe anything that is written in the tabloids. They are getting rich off of our stupidity and what are we gaining? Nothing.

Robert is with Kristen and I have never seen Kristen look anything but degraded. Kristen’s hair is frizzy and dirty. Since Kristen and Robert started dating ,Kristen has made sure Robert looks terrible! Robert is such a wimp that he does whatever Kristen tells him to do. Kristen is going to make sure that Robert’s talent is ruined because Kristen has no talent. Robert’s talent is questionable but he seems to have some. Robert Pattinson is such a joke because of Kristen. Of course Kristen is a joke as well. Hollywood knows these two are not actors or celebrities.
