Robert Pattinson Fans Donating Money To GO Campaign In Honor Of Actor’s Birthday
Robert Pattinson’s fans are donating money in honor of the actor’s upcoming 30th birthday to the GO Campaign, a nonprofit organization that raises funds and awareness for orphans around the globe.
Pattinson’s fans have raised more than $130,000 for the GO Campaign since launching “Rob’s Birthday Project” in 2010. The goal this year is to amass at least $30,000 to mark the actor turning 30. On its official website, the GO Campaign assured all those who choose to donate that Pattinson “will be so thrilled to know that his fans are doing so much to help orphans and vulnerable children all over the world in his honor.”
The organization continued, “Robert Pattinson has been an incredibly valued supporter of GO campaign for years. His passion for improving the lives of children around the world has allowed him to become an inspiring advocate for GO Campaign’s mission.” In 2015, Pattinson was named as the group’s first Ambassador.
To further express how supportive Pattinson has been of the charity organization and helping children in need, the GO Campaign said, “Robert may have a history of playing powerful beings on the big screen, but it’s the kindness in his day-to-day interactions and his big heart that really make him a superstar in our eyes.” Pattinson will be celebrating his 30th birthday on May 13.
