Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs To Have Prenup, Despite Report
Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are going to sign a prenup, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this rumor, which started in one of the tabloids. We’re told it’s not necessarily about trust, money or even divorce, and has much more to do with having a document that will serve as a “blueprint” for for how they both plan to spend their life together married.
According to Star, Pattinson “won’t be asking his singer fiancee to sign an agreement.” The tabloid then quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Rob’s quite a traditionalist and is madly in love with her, so he doesn’t think it’s necessary,” adding, “He’s following his heart on this, rather than his head.” The magazine goes on to editorialize that Pattinson not signing a prenup “ought to provide some comfort” for FKA Twigs who “grew up poor.”
But it’s not true, and we’re told both FKA Twigs and Pattinson are onboard for a prenup, which would cover everything from marital assets to possibly upbringing of children. An insider tells Gossip Cop the prenup “isn’t just about money, it’s about both of them agreeing to different aspects about how they live their lives… a blueprint for their future.” Our source adds, “It would cover things, like if Robert would take a break from projects while [FKA Twigs] is on a tour [to take care of kids, for example]… It’s so that they both are one the same page and to protect both of them… It’s basically a guide to avoid future problems… for a better marriage, not divorce.”
Of course, as we know, Star doesn’t have the best Pattinson sources. Gossip Cop previously busted the tabloid when it claimed he and Katy Perry were dating. That story was wrong, and its current report is equally off-base.
