Busting bad dish!

Robert Pattinson Victim of “Hack” Job

(Famous)

Rarely has a bait-and-switch tabloid cover been as ridiculous and irresponsible as Famous magazine’s current “report” about Robert Pattinson.

Under the picture of a downcast Kristen Stewart, Famous blares, “Rob & The 17-Year-Old Aussie Girl: How Kristen Found Out.” Below that it continues, “The Emails Revealed: What He Tried to Keep Secret.”

The insinuation is obvious.

Famous wants people to think that 24-year-old Pattinson cheated on Stewart with a teenage girl.

Except once anyone opens the magazine, the actual story is TOTALLY different.

It turns out the 17-year-old girl Famous advertises on its cover is not an alleged paramour interfering with Pattinson and Stewart – she’s an alleged computer hacker interfering with his e-mail.

Pattinson is supposedly worried about the young Australian fan getting access to personal messages and distributing them for all the world to see.

“Rob is devastated that someone has managed to crack into something so private,” explains a so-called “source.”

So why does the magazine make a big deal out of Stewart discovering this e-mail breach?

Famous describes her as “equally nervous” because, according to one tab source, “She doesn’t want people to know the ins and outs of their relationship” and is “also worried there are things on there she doesn’t know about.”

As if to prove how little they know about Stewart and Pattinson, the people at Famous call her his “fiancée.”

In any case, the entire article is kinda gross.

To sell a story all about how Pattinson is uncomfortable with intrusion, Famous uses a cover that gives everyone the impression he’s having an affair with a teenage girl.

And to describe the anxiety anyone would have about strangers digging through his or her e-mails, Famous claims there are certain messages Pattinson wants to keep “secret.”

Using insecurity to imply infidelity is a shady move, even for the tab.

    Poor Robsten… :(

Fortunately, we are all aware of the ridiculousness of Famous magazine. No wonder they are in hiding all the time.

The e-mail hacker in Australia is true. Rob admitted in an interview ( I think in the new VF interview) that a 17 year old girl in Australia hacked his e-mail while he was on it. He also said there was a 15 year old in England who did the same. He also said he instructed his lawyers to sue them. And I wouldn’t blame him if he did sue. Those girls should be ashamed and hopefully they have faced criminal charges for doing this to Rob. Of course there are things Rob wants to keep from the general public, like e-mail addresses of his family and friends, some of those friends are famous too. It disgusts me that anyone would do something like this to anyone. Like Rob doesn’t have everyone in his business enough. And Famous Magazine’s cover page disgusts me, too!! Some people have no shame!

i wanna know how he was able to know someone hacked into his email. that’s what makes me wonder only because finding hackers isn’t as easy as it sounds…the only way, he could have been able to do this is unless both those hackers were newbies who don’t know how the hell to remain hidden when hacking a person

@MIssZee: In the VF article he said he was using his email at the time one of the two girls mentioned hacked into his account. I had a similar problem like that about three years ago, someone managed to get a hold of my screen name and password and was signing on as me. I instant messaged her and told her that I know she is using my email account and she literally got nasty and hostile with me. I actually contacted my local police as I was concerned about identity theft, but at the end of the day, it was just someone who hacked into my email account and was using it, more than likely, to send spam. I told her that I called the police and reported it. I also keep changing my password as well. I never had a problem after that. I don’t know how it happened, but spammers know how to hi jack email accounts for the sheer purpose of sending spam. It is probably what happened to him, but given who he is, I would say that they were invading his privacy and he should sue them.

Once again, I don’t know why GC would go through the trouble of debunking yet another story from Famous Magazine. Personally, I never see this magazine anywhere (but then again, I never go out of my way to look for it either) and if they have a web site, I sure would not be able to tell you as I am not inclined to read anything from these kind of web sites and take it to be the truth. But, there are people in this world that will now, thanks to GC, go out of their way to read this drivel. Once again, free advertising for Famous Magazine. Way to go. Apparently, someone has it in their heads that stories like these need to be cut off at the knees, but I still think that anyone with half a brain would not believe this crap if it was the last thing they were able to do to save their own lives. So why bother? The fact that they did not even use up to date pictures is a dead give away that the story is bogus. I am surprised that GC thinks that their fans are that gullable that they would believe this kind of drivel.

  • Nathiest

Why would Gaystew care who Robpat is dating? They’re only co-workers/friends.

  • amam85

In answer as to why GC should bust this kind of crap one should consider imdb. If you go on his profile, it lists other sites that WILL pick up on this story and write their own little twist on the truth just to ensure hits. I, for one, am glad that GC is around to (atleast) try to cut off the weeds early before they have a chance to grow.

    leave them alone!!! go Robsten!!

  • Malene87

That article is downright disgusting! What an insituation to make. Whoever wrights this stuff for Famous Magazine must be a very sad person. I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night, if I were making up stories about people and writing nasty gossip for a living. I know that they kind of tell the truth inside the magazine, but a lot of people don’t by magazines. They just read the headlines at the newsstands. Shame on you Famous Magazine! I do not know if Robsten is the real deal or what, because they have not said so themselves, but let’s say that they are. What would you say, if you were in an loving and comitted relasionship, and it was your picture on the front of an magazine claming, that you were cheating on your partner? As GC wery well states: It’s gross!

Again I say: Shame on you FM! Good job Gossip Cop!

Robsten or not, my e-mail account was hacked yesterday. not funny at all.

  • robsessed1986

A stronger password is the key. It is a lot harder to hack. Someone hacked my e-mail a few years ago so, I changed my password to a much stronger one and haven’t had any problems since.
