Robert Pattinson won’t be the only “Eclipse” star to appear on “Ellen” before the latest installment of the “Twilight Saga” hits theaters.

Gossip Cop can confirm exclusively that Nikki Reed will be on the top talk show, too.

We’re told Reed will tape her segment on May 17, and it will air May 18.

Robert Pattinson is set to take another bite out of daytime.

The Eclipse vampire will join Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show in an episode airing Wednesday, May 19, Gossip Cop can confirm. It will be taped the previous day.

It isn’t the first “Ellen” engagement for Pattinson. The star appeared on the program back in November while promoting New Moon. That was the interview in which he described a woman in a public crowd getting naked to get his attention.

Gossip Cop will have more scoops as the June 30 Eclipse release nears.

  • LauraBee says:

    Thanks GC for confirming :)
It would be a nice birthday present to me if it was a day earlier though..

i can’t wait too!!!! give us more Rob

They were really funny together in past interviews. Ellen produced a few of the best I’ve ever seen of him. She takes really good gracious care of him – but it’s natural and friendly barbing. Total charmy pants!

I think a lot of interviewers Kimmel, et al forget that he’s a really young man and this whole Twi-phenom tsunami can be overwhelming (sometimes dangerous). I think he really did well in the Letterman interview too – he actually had David chuckling disarmed even though Letterman did not go easy on him. Leno let Heidi Klum off her leash too much – it was uncomfortable.

  • KateWinterman says:

I remember that. Heidi acted like he was gross when he was obviously joking. Again and again his humor does not translate well to America, where we take ourselves so seriously.

  • alynn says:

He seems to do really well here in the States… A billion in franchise profits and counting, driving mad enthusiasm, inspiring giggles, moistening ladies’ bloomers from coast to coast, grabbing Vanity Fair covers, sharing personal time with Elle’s Woman of the Year/BAFTA’s Rising Star hottie, etc. etc. He coughs and your contract wish comes true.

Somebody must be getting the jokes – okay, maybe not in Kansas. Hee. If he wanted to buy me a latte I’d go – that’s saying a lot because I’m a tough sell (from hype-free Oregon).

  • janna says:

My hope is they rein in the screaming so we get to hear the whole interview, last time the screaming lasted way too long and all Ellen did was laugh.

  • alynn says:

Totals janna! I forgot about the screaming hordes. They kinda wreck it for me – maybe Ellen could increase the dancing time to work out the Pattispazms? I’m rethinking the “latte with Mr. P fantasy” and taking a pass. Historically, I only crush on geeks. Geeks are so my flavor – the less obviously sexy the better.

i really don’t care about Nikki on the Ellen

    give us Rob!!!!!

  • Raven says:

Gossip Cop…this is Rob’s THIRD time on th Ellen show! Yes, I will be watching because I think he and Ellen do fun interviews. She seems to really like him and that makes all the difference in the world. I wish she’d do a whole an hour with him.

Will I watch Nikki Reed? Not only NO but HELL NO! ]

Why isn’t Ellen having Kristen on the show? Why waste good air time on Nikki “famewhore” Reed?

  • alynn says:

I’d rather see Kristen Stewart – whassup? Why is a Reed appearance listed in Pattinson news? SO to the WHAT..

  • janna says:

Tuning in for Rob, purposely avoiding Nikki Reed. Jackson Rathbone or Peter Facinelli would have been a better choice if they wanted a supporting cast member.

  • Izabela says:

But the crap that Nikki will do there after all huh?
Who should go on Ellen’s Kristen, who has much more importance than Nikki!
I’m only going to see Rob! Nikki I will not watch!
I hope this year to go on Kristen Ellen … she could go with Rob!
And I do not doubt anything that Ellen’s audience is not large there with Nikki!

  • Hannk says:

Sweet! He’s going to be on Oprah, along with the other cast I think on May 13th. Which is, guess what! His birthday!! Hahaha. May is going to be an awesome month. My birthday–15th, RP birthday–13th, Him on Ellen–13th, and him and Nikki Reed on Ellen–18th and 19th yay!

  • Chloe says:

I love it when Rob is on the Ellen show. They are so funny together. I would love to see Nikki on the Ellen show as well. I think she gets a bad rap because of her rumored relationship with Rob. I can’t wait until one of the cast members writes a tell all book. I think there is a lot we think we know that we don’t know. The truth will come out.

  • bliss says:

I will definitley watch rob when he comes to ellen and i will watch rob and kris when they are on oprah (togather) will i watch nikki? NO I WILL NOT. why is she going there anyway? she is not important! why not take someone else like ashley green or elizabeth reaser? rather see them instead of ikki.

  • just me says:

we”ll be watching and licking the screen. i want to see how both of them, Rob and Nikki will communicate, even though i don’t feel good about the bashing comments. Nikki i-s important as she is still the part of the deal. but i wonder if she’ll keep saying “i am Team Jacob” this time.
