Busting Bogus Robert Pattinson “Eclipse” Rumors

Over the last few hours, whispers of unrest have emanated from the Vancouver set where Eclipse is filming pick-ups.

Robert Pattinson arrived in the Pacific Northwest a couple of days ago to participate. When he wasn’t in front of the cameras immediately after stepping off the plane, many outlets freaked.

Some even suggested a rift between Pattinson and director David Slade, and that the actor was refusing to be cooperative.

This simply is not the case.

As we speak, Pattinson is on the set filming, a source on the scene confirms to Gossip Cop.

“There are absolutely no problems,” a rep for Summit tells Gossip Cop, adding, “Today is the first day of shooting for Robert Pattinson.”

The pick-ups are underway, as scheduled, and speculation about problems should be curbed in favor of facts.

    So this rumor has squelched by Summit. Well since when do we ever believe Summit tells the truth?

    So funny that you’re hating on GC because they have ACCESS to Summit. Funny, would you rather your gossip be incorrect and that they’re as clueless as Perez? And Anais, you seriously believe Rob is dating Leighton Meister? Have you seen photos of them together? That’s crazy.

    I don’t know. They’ve been pretty accurate with Rob and Kristen stuff, way more than the other blogs. Not sure them having access to Summit is so bad.

    Gossip Girl you really think that the rep of summit is going to tell yes they are differences on set and so on… the facts are that the 3 main actors where supposed to be on the re-shoots for the THREE days as we know Robert Pattinson yesterday wasn’t in the studio or set so just read between lines,
    GC also said there are re-shoots, the re-shoot or pick ups don’t last 14 hours or more they are shooting now so can you see where I’m going… Summit damage control with the help of GC.
    how can we believe all that GC says if they SO close with the studio…

    I’m suspicious because GC mentioned “outlets”. What are these outlets, GC? I had just heard of this on a fansite before checking here. It never hit a popular outlet, that I could see, before the debunking began. So now GC is addressing fan commentaries, not just major gossip sources?

    GC, what about Robert’s interview with the Hungarian reporter where he denied having a romantic relationship with Kristen? Have you researched that? The reporter’s name is right there. She even gives a time frame that is recent. She’s a legitimate reporter. Wouldn’t THAT be the scoop of the year? Wouldn’t THAT make some gossip sites look manipulative and predatory and isn’t that the goal of GC?

    1. First of all in this interview is no denial, the question is about the engagement, after the “BS” answer the interviewer says this is not an answer to the question. Seems strange. But I have not read “we are not together” in one of these quotes. Do you?
    2.The interviewer refers to a meeting in New York, but there are no questions about RM and none really about Bel Ami. She had indeed an interview during NM press tour. A lot of qoutes seemd old quotes, the hungarian fans pointed out that it seemed to be rewritten from old quotes. So was the response from nearly all fan sites who closely follow the actor.
    3. The interview was out BEFORE Kristen Stewart turned up in Budapest.
    4. The new engagement from OK turned up after Stewarts visit in Budapest, so to which rumour does this interview refer anyway?
    5. Since last year there were no personal questions allowed in interviews. No one was allowed to ask question about Kristen in NY during RM press. Why would it then in this interview?
    6. Most of the foreign interviews are a mix from quotes.

    Probably for this reasons the interview wasn’t picked up by any major outlet or site. There are so many foreign translated interviews with mix and match. Why should GC debunk this one.

    Entertainment show… used some of the quotes for their “exclusive” Pattinson engagement/romance denial after Budapest. But this got only picked up by Perez, Bollywood news and co.
