Robert Pattinson “Disturbing” Sex Scenes quotes are altered and taken out of order

Any comments attributed to Robert Pattinson are going to get huge attention, especially with regards to the highly anticipated Bel Ami he’s making with Uma Thurman, and especially if outlets can throw in the word “sex.”

“The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing,” Pattinson is quoted as saying to The Daily Record. The comments were quickly (and not surprisingly) picked up everywhere. “[Thurman's character] kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal,” Pattinson supposedly adds.

Bel Ami is an adaptation of French writer Guy de Maupassant‘s novel, in which Georges Duroy (Pattinson) is a social climbing journalist and playboy. As Gossip Cop confirmed last month, Christina Ricci has also signed on to the project.

Gossip Cop was told by a source close to Pattinson that the actor ”never spoke to the [Scottish] Daily Record.”

Additionally, the quotations printed in the article were absolutely altered and used out of sequence in the newspaper, which was not authorized to publish the (edited) quotations, says the source.

    if your writer is as reliable as you claim, it shouldn’t be a problem at all for him/her, to prove the authenticity of his article.
    No affence to you or your writer, but Gossip Cop has done a really great job “busting bad dish” so far, therefore I (and as I’m sure a lot, if not all, of it’s readers) very strongly tend to believe this site.

    All that I can say about the movie “BEL AMI”? Since I’ve read the book twice… The story is nothing but “sex” and Duroy’s hunger for success and his testoterone blues. Well I think this type of movie is indeed challenging to put in the silver screen to do as a story. But for Mr. Pattinson to take the (lead) role as Duroy –it’s far too early for him. He has not that much experiences in the movie, and not to mention pirate-presses attacks. He doesn’t know how to put personal control over many things… He is far too goody guy in showbiz (Hollyweird is nasty my boy!) -he’s so new! Hot! and rollercoasterly famous around the world! He trust so much, be it the director’s say and choices, photographers, reporters, even his bodyguards are useless. Obviously he wanted to be taken seriously as an actor…He should take it slow and carefully, but not in this type of movie because -the pressure and outcome it would put in his image might tilt and spill his glass of champagne.. gee think, most of his fans aren’t allowed to see yet most of its scenes.

    And wether Kirsten and Rob are dating?… Kirsten wasn’t shy to admit in public when she and Mr. Angarano were.
    Why would she then not with Rob? What is the difference now that the fans are obsessed with them right?
    The truth, they are just friends, obviously as it is… she also goes out with Taylor, just like she does with Rob, and
    she’s still in good talks with her ex… She is clear that she does not have any exclusive pref date… THAT”S CLEAR! SHE IS STILL AVAILABLE, AND DATABLE BY ANYONE SHE PREFERS TO BE WITH… Amen!

    Bel Ami is bound to be a fantastic film, the cast alone is to die for. Can’t wait for its US release.
