Robert Pattinson is NOT breaking up with FKA Twigs due to her supposed “hunger for fame,” despite a baseless new webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.

According to the far too often inaccurate Celeb Dirty Laundry, Pattinson is on the verge of calling off his engagement to the singer because she’s allegedly letting her newfound success go to her head. The webloid claims that FKA Twigs is “shamelessly” trying to piggyback off the actor’s notoriety in order to further her own music career.

“Twigs seems to think she is a superstar,” the blog goes on to say without any sources to backup its allegations. The unreliable website further adds that after “enjoying the spoils of become [sic] his fiancée, Twigs’ attitude suddenly changed.” The webloid wraps up its nonsensical report by alleging, “the strain of Twigs’ hunger for fame is definitely causing problems for the couple behind the scenes.”

Gossip Cop debunked a similarly false CDL article in August that claimed FKA Twigs was “dumping” Pattinson because her music career took off, and supposedly “she’s gotten what she needs from him.” Shortly before that, we busted another tale from the untrustworthy site that alleged the singer was pushing her fiancé to take on more “mainstream roles” in order to keep them in the spotlight.

CDL has a terrible habit of publishing grossly inaccurate stories about Pattinson. Still, Gossip Cop investigates every story, regardless of how poor a website’s track record is. In any event, we’re exclusively told by a source close to the situation there’s simply “no truth” to the newest claim that FKA Twigs’ so-called “hunger for fame” is causing problems between her and Pattinson.
