Robert Pattinson Hiring Body Double to Fake Out Fans?

Robert Pattinson is “on the lookout for a look-a-like,” reports British OK!‘s website.

According to the site, Pattinson “wants to hire a body double to act as a decoy for his female admirers.”

“Rob apparently came up with the idea of a decoy after one of his more dedicated fans started following him and girlfriend (yea, we went there) Kristen Stewart everywhere,” writes OK!

A so-called “source” for the online arm of the tab says, “He’s become the focus of a group of over-zealous female fans… One girl from Japan has started turning up wherever he is.”

The supposed “source” adds, “Robert thinks there’s only one thing for it and that is to increase his security and use a body double. It may seem a bit extreme but at least he can now be in two countries at once and spend some quality time with Kristen.”

Uh, huh…

By that logic, shouldn’t Pattinson also hire a decoy body double for Stewart since fans would follow her as well in order to find him?

This story is doubly WRONG.

A Pattinson source tells Gossip Cop that OK!’s premise is “ridiculous,” and that “he has stand-ins on set,” but he’s not hiring a full-time “double” for his personal life.

    actually this is somewhat TRUE…i’ll admit, i’ve been curious about Rob so when he filmed Remember Me here in NYC…i figured, ‘lets see what the big deal is.’…i saw and let me tell you the fan base was HUGE…he had a decoy being used when filming was done….true story
