What do I think about what Rob said? Well this interview was really weird and had a sad vibe. No idea if it came from Rob or the writer’s style though.
Otherwise, I agree with him. So many rumors, how do you make the difference between truth and lies? And lol at Rob’s mom asking him if the rumors about marriage were true. I doubt she actually asked (I think that’s Rob’s usual sense of humor/exageration) but that was fun. If true, then I guess her mother realises very well that it could happen any time that her son marries his gf of 3 years.

I feel so sorry for him, poor guy! :( I read the entire interview and I just wish he could live a normal, happy somewhat-anonymous life like most of us non-famous people do. I’d be pissed if obnoxious guys with cameras were taking pictures of me everywhere I went, be it at a concert, a walk in the park with my dog, me going to a café for something to eat or drink or whatever.

There’s always that saying that you choose to be a public person when you become a famous actor in Hollywood, but deep down he is still just a human being like the rest of us, he needs to be able to go out and socialise with others without feeling he’s being followed everywhere, and the sentence “I never go anywhere. I don’t even know where anywhere is” is just so, so sad. :(

I am pretty sure the romance with Kristen is as real as it gets, but their personal life is none of our business anyways. People often misinterpret what he says during interviews. He’s a very sarcastic guy, classic British humor, which a lot of Americans don’t understand. I guess that makes it one of his great weaknesses, but I wouldn’t want that part of him to ever change, he’s funny as h***.

Bizzare as in how the interview is written. The narrator is Rob’s heart, not the interviewer, but at the same time it is the interviewer. It’s better if you read the article yourself, it’s hard to explain. ;)

So he did indeed gave that interview? It not just some compilation of other interviews put together. I’m confused as to why he picks the marriage rumor of all the rumors to deny. How does that work Gossip Cop? Rob calls you up and says deny this one? According to him he has no PR person. Rob and Kristen have been together for a long time. Married or not who cares. I’m glad they are together. He sure pushed the ‘married in the eyes of the church’ during the Breaking Dawn promo tour. That came from his mouth on more than one live interview when he was promoting with Ashley Greene. I really don’t think Rob’s mom would be shocked if he married Kristen.

He was referring to the mags like US Weekley and other trash mags, that have a front cover of him and Kristen with the headline saying they are married. I think any parent would be upset to read their son is married on a magazine headline and they did not know it. Rob has never stated he and Kristen would not get married. They are not married…yet.

Yeah, that is what I got out of it too. That he was talking about the US weekly and so on. I also saw that he said, “They are not married Yet.” I think the author’s style made it seem more sad than it was intended. It was interesting writing from the perspective of his heart.

I think it was the style of the writer that made it seem a bit sad. If you read the whole article it is a better read than the little pieces. He has always said he is grateful for Twilight and the fans. He does not like the paparazzi and who could blame him. they spy on him by the hundreds and he has it worse from the paps than a lot of people in Hollywood. He does seem to appreciate Twilight. He got to meet Kristen because of Twilight and he has said he had a crush on her from afar well before Twilight after seeing her in a couple of her earlier movies. He also said in the Blackbook article that he and Kristen were not married yet. He seems like a good guy. Also he has a sarcastic English sense of humor as someone else said on here and lots of times it is misunderstood

It is so easy to talk the talk unless you are under the microscope. He is not whinning about the fame but certain aspects of it like stories always being manufactured instead of the truth or papz being in your face or following your every move. I am certain he enjoys what he does, the amont of fame thrusted onto you is not easy, look at Elvis, Michael Jackson, James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles, there are effects and unless you are in their shoes you have no concept. He is still appreciative and almost mimics what you said where he would be 5 years ago. It is still awful that you are unable just to take a walk without someone always following you. In time it may die down once the saga is completely over, but I certainly would not trade places and I am currently unemployed. I love my privacy, thank you very much.

Reading that article he really wanted to set the record straight that he was not married to Kristen and JMO but it sounded like he was with her now but not until death do they part. He really wanted everyone to know that he was with several women sexually but they didn’t have his heart because Kristen did. He wanted to set the record straight that he was living alone and not with Kristen. All of this is how I interpreted this strange article. Kristen has been saying it all the time that Rob is her boyfriend but Rob always comes back and seems to me to want to appear single. JMO people. Just when I see all these pretty pics of Rob and Kristen out and about together than we get an article where Rob appears to be saying – I date Kristen but I don’t want to live with her or marry her. Rob should never give print interviews again because they all sound the same. He always comes off sounding depressed, whining and a very strange person. He just didn’t come off as someone that was happy with his life and what he should be thankful for. Sad that his team and him think that being single is the way to go for his career. He should be proud to claim Kristen as his (whatever she is to him) they both are so damn gorgeous and have a great future ahead. As for the living together with K, we know they do. We got photos of her coming back to his/their house after one of her business trips.

I also don’t see him trying to appear single in interviews. Some people with an agenda try to make others believe he’s trying to though. K&R don’t really hide anymore, they’ve become more open, so it makes no sense at all to interpret his interviews as him trying to appear single while he goes on dates with K holding her hand in front of papz!

I do agree with you than he came off as whining and kinda sad. But the interview was so weirdly written that we don’t know what’s Rob’s answers and what’s the journalist’s assumptions.

He said they were not married yet – making it sound like that was a very real possibility – soon. JMO. The author of the article implied that Rob was with several woman in the past…while pining away for Kristen. He also seemed to make it clear they were together now – possibly living together. Saying he (his heart) gets to see her nearly every day. To me it made it sound like they were together as in living together? To see them together it is clear they have strong chemistry and the way he looks at her you can tell he adores her.

Rob talking about him and Kristen is not a joke. Maybe you should watch the BD1 promo’s and even The Ellen show and look at Rob when he is talking about the priest. IMO it sounded like he did want to marry Kristen – just that they were not married yet. He was talking about the trashy tabloids making stuff up… saying that he was married…and many other things that are not true. He said they were not married yet… to me it did sound like they were living together. He (his heart) said he saw Kristen’s (heart) nearly every day. @Lisa – go to any fansite Robsenation, Robsessed or RPLife and read it for yourself. Like I said, that was my opinion and what I read and thank goodness we all interpret things different. Didn’t like the interviewer at all and glad to know that Rob times his pee, 4 minutes is a long time, lol. Rob talks about privacy and not wanting to let anyone know about his personal life but he is willing to tell the interviewer about causal /carnal sex with girls before or during Kristen, confused on that part. He tells about trying to start disgusting scat sex rumors, you really don’t want to know about that. Print interviews with Rob should be ruled out by his team, jmo.

Just because he is an actor does not give the paps or anyone else the right to invade his personal life or his family. When Rob and Kristen are at an awards show, on the red carpet, or doing promotions then yes they should expect the paps to be there and pics posted. Rob and Kristen out on dates, or walking up their driveway, playing golf with their parents are the private moments that the paps have no right what so ever to invade.

I thought the “interview” was very strange as well. There were too few direct quotes from Mr. Pattinson and the interviewer seemed to take too many liberties and assumptions on what he thought Mr. P’s “heart” was feeling.

My take is the same as Syndi’s. Look at the past magazine covers with Rob/Kristen on the cover and numerous headlines that say they were secrelty married, are married and Kristen is pregnant, they eloped, etc.., Imagine Rob’s mom watching tv or surfing the net and that mag cover comes up. Rob is her only son and I’m sure seeing things like he is married and Kristen is having a baby is upsetting only for the fact that she did not know. Rob and Kristen do live together in Los Feliz. Rob has proved over and over that he is without a doubt dating Kristen. I did not see anything in the article that showed Rob trying to appear single..

Here is my take. That OK! Magazine article where they talk about the “Wedding of the Year!” was the most RIDICULOUS thing I have read about those two in a while and there have been some crazy tab articles about them. Him jealous of Chris Hemsworth, jealous of her career and vice-versa, he wants to break-up, pregnancy yaddah yaddah. This one had Katy Perry as a bridesmaid, what they were going to eat, where they were honeymooning and it was all untrue. It did seem so detailed though that I can imagine his mother, who would normally know about her son’s upcoming nuptials, may have called to make sure she hadn’t missed something LOL. He used that as an example of how us as fans or the public in general can never believe anything they read. For me seeing is believing and I have seen enough to know Rob and Kristen are in a very serious and solid relationshp. I would actually be surprised if they did NOT get married one day, but they are young and rich and have all the time in the world. They can focus on growing their careers right now.

I think he is much happier and has much more going on in his life than what came across in that fluff piece. It would be interesting to know who gave their stamp of approval on this on his team’s side.

@Maisie, I don’t think they can give a stamp of approval or not. Once the interview is done, I would think that no one looks at it until it appears in the magazine for distribution. If they had to give the stamp of approval because every article would be a glowing, saving the world piece. Two other magazines come to mind one is Details (2010), with his I hate vaginas, yes I know it was a joke, and some of the other things he said in that were disturbing. Vanity Fair (2011) when he really came off sounding depressed and very unhappy with his life. Really wish his team would or could get a stamp of approval before it goes to print but I really don’t think they can. BTW Maisie I’m Guest and was asking Buffy_2012 her take on his interview and I thank you for your comments about it. I always thought Rob was really serious about Kristen and we get an article like this and I go WTF. I really believe that Kristen is crazy for him and I hope he’s just as crazy for her. actors or their teams don’t get final say-so about how the articles sound. also, just because rob doesn’t want to get married right now….neither does kristen…..doesn’t mean he isn’t crazy about her. look at the video of them from cannes at the otr after party. look at the pic of him flying back all the way from berlin right after he went to the film festival to go to her friends birthday party with her. look at the pics of him at the award shows watching her on stage with her award. look at the pics of him visting her during otr filming. look at all of that, and then some then ask yourself that question. this bs of “is rob crazy about kristen?”, or “is kristen crazy about rob?” is a favorite tool that the haters use to trash them.

Go back and read my comments I have not trashed either one of them. I have mentioned comments that were made in articles that are written by interviewers that Rob has done. While Rob and Kristen are famous they are also human and have the same issues and trials any of us may have in our relationships. Actually, when they signed to do Twilight they also signed to do New Moon and Eclipse — if Twilight did well. It was the last two movies (BD1 & BD2) that got majorly negotiated. I read that ALL the players had to negotiate for the last two movies.

Would I want the money? Sure! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t but we don’t know what they go through just to be able to leave their homes. Just to be able to go grocery shopping. Things you and I take for granted become a major event and are usually published for people to scrutinize.

On weekends I don’t want to wear makeup or dress up. It’s my off time. But how many celebrities show up on the cover of STAR magazine without their makeup and some really cruel tagline on the cover? People like you and I can go anywhere, wear anything, and we take that for granted. They can’t do those things. Sure, they make a lot of money but what’s the point if you can’t go out and spend it?

I like Rob Pattinson, but this was a terrible interview/photo shoot in my opinion. It’s too bad. From what I understand, most PR people can’t change an article or get approval for an article for the major magazines like Blackbook, Vogue, Interview, GQ, Glamour, Marie Claire, etc unless they work for someone like Will Smith or Tom Cruise or Angelina. Even then, they can’t always say this article is fucked up and needs to be changed.

Considering all the wedding, family event type photos, the creepy photos that showed they lived together, and the photos of them holding hands at that concert last week…It’s very clear that they are in a relationship. I figured once one of his co-stars (I think it was Reese?) called her his girlfriend, they were the real deal. Both have more or less acknowledged it too. That said, I think it’s kind of distasteful to keep bringing it up out of the blue that he’s not getting married and so irritated/angry with that particular rumor. Unless someone directly asks him, why even bring it up? By acting all pissy about it, it makes him seem like he’s trying to appear as potentially single. It would be better if he just laughed it off, or if he gets so upset about tabloid rumors to address the ones that accuse him of cheating or drinking too much. The marriage ones are pretty harmless in comparison.

Just believe his honing in on the marriage rumors and acting all angry about it was vaguely disrespectful towards Kristen Stewart and somewhat obnoxious. I totally agree that you are high on something if you think Rob is not in love and in Awww of Kristen. Sorry but the guy praises her all the time and he was only able to relax after his film Cosmpolis once he talked to Kristen he really was only focused on what she thought her opinion matters the most to him. He said over and over he came to the US for her to meet her too work with her he was flat broke and about to give up acting he is in Awwww of her and he has called her is GF and talks about her as his GF. As for this interview you need to take it any other interview every magazine adds their own words and spins the story you need to remember that. Rob does not look like a guy who is sad in the least he is not herment he does go out PROBLEM is when he does he’s accused of cheating by fans/ non fans who can’t deal that he has been in a faithful relationship with Kristen does he go out all the time no but he does go out when he wants. Also Rob does not and has never talked about his private life so please stop saying Rob has been with many women before Kristen no one knows so that part of the article is most likely 99% the writer adding it Rob would never talk to a magazine about his sex life. Agreed JMO – it is so obvious seeing them together that they are in love. Their chemistry is undeniable. Also if his own “Mum” called him to see if the wedding tabloid article was true – it must be within the realm of possibility – or she would not have thought it might be true. He definitely did not seem to mean any disrespect in the article IMO – he was just simply stating that the trashloids are always making stuff up about him/them. Also the article alluded to the fact that they may be living together because his “heart” sees Kristen’s “heart” almost every day. The article was written strangely but reading the whole thing is better than bits and pieces.

@jane, lmao. yeah clooney is so much more graceful. that is why he always dumps his gfs when the word marriage becomes louder and louder. trades them in for a hotter, younger model. i must have missed the part where rob was angry. all i saw was him talk about the non stop rumors of marriage. he has already talked about the hookup rumors, about how no matter what he does every time he is by a female the rumors start. as for being disrespectful to kristen. ok….i guess then everytime kristen’s team debunks marriage rumors, and kristen talks about not wanting to get married right now i guess that is disrespectul to rob? all rob said is that he doesn’t want to get married right now. big deal. don’t think kristen is crying into her pillow over it.

I use to be a huge Robert fan, up until recently. I find that even though he continually says he is grateful for Twilight he and Kristen constantly complain about their lives! I get it that being hounded by paps and screaming fan girls isnt ideal but I’m sick of the mopy attitude and bitching. If you dfidn’t want this life then why did you accept the role? Simple as that. There are hundreds of people who wish they could have been given the oppurtunity he was and they would be a lot more grateful!

Happen at anytime? Personally, I would be a little upset if my child got married and didn’t let me know/let me be there. I doubt either Kristen or Rob would want to get married and not let their family know. That’s what makes the comments by his Mother sad, it is sad to think that your child would have to get married in secret just so they could have their day be private. The Law needs to be changed, it’s wrong that anyone has to right to write false stories about people and it’s wrong that Stars seem to have no rights against being pretty much stalked by people holding cameras. If any non famous person left their homes and felt like they were being followed/stalked it would be a crime. I just don’t understand how the law can say it’s okay to do this to one person but against the law to do it to another.

That’s absolutely not what I meant! I didn’t mean that it could happen anytime that Rob marries Kristen without his mother knowing about it! I don’t think that at all, thus why I wrote that Rob saying his mother almost believed these rumors and called him might be his usual sense of exageration. I’m sure after all this time, she doesn’t believe all she reads in tabloids and since Rob and his family seem tight, she knows he would tell her about something as important as marriage. And even, like you said, if Rob had to get married in secret just to have his marriagebe private, I’m sure his mom would know and would be invited, so I don’t think that’s what he meant in his answer either. I don’t think you’re huge fan of Rob at all. He loves his life right now since he doesn’t want to go back what his life before (he said it in one of his interviews). What he doesn’t like is the invasion of his privacy and Kristen’s in that matter. That’s why they both have a mopy attitude & bitching as you put it because they both don’t like the papz. Probably only the fans who wants to know the private time of Rob & Kristen love the papz. As for the screaming fan girls, Rob mentioned that as well in one of his earlier interviews that he is scared of his screaming fans. Who wouldn’t? Who knows among those screaming fans are the obsessed ones who think that Rob is their boyfriend or their husband? Have you seen the film Fatal Attraction? Rob has that kind of fans. Well, I’m glad that you were not that obsessive fan of Rob after all.

meh. kind of get both of your points. clooney is a womanizing bastard, but he never brings up that he is not getting married unless an interviewer drills him about it. kristen did discuss marriage, but she only talked about it around the time of BDPart1 and she also said she wanted to have kids and get married in the future. there’s difference between debunking stories on gossipcop and discussing it in interviews. so i see the difference. at the same time, i imagine it must be so annoying to constantly have that speculation about marriage to the point his own mom believe it and how that could be overly invasive. i think the tabloids are harder on him and kstew than most of the other celebs. s o i could see how he would get frustrated and be like, this isn’t true. i guess this is a point that everyone can interpret an article differently.

Well that’s the truth and I’m sick of it too Rob! You read 1 thing,then see it everywhere then the person it’s about says they never said that. It’s ridiculous.People make things up and put it out there,sometimes bloggers,then the lazy media comes along and doesn’t do their homework but uses false info then the story spreads everywhere.

Very true and No One knows if they are really marketing their relationship or not. Article did say the relationship was sanctioned by theTwi industrial complex which to anyone not following them closely would construe that to mean PR. It also talks about carnal love (even when we laid with others I have remained behind closed door). Yes you can take what you want from that but for most unless you are a die hard fan you would take that as he sleeps around but his heart is not in it.

From reading some of these posts, I am amazed at how emotionally invested people are in Rob and Kristen’s relationship. What are you guys going to do when they break up? They are young and live in LA. The odds are not with them. In the mean time, they should be left alone.

So you mean that the readers are going to believe that he ADMITTED that not only he’s been in a PR relationship with Kristen (even if it was true, why would anyone admit such a thing to the media, especially when your couple’s so popular?) and he’s sleeping around, having casual flings, not caring for the girls. It’d be media suicide to say that, his image (and we know image is everything in Hollywood) would be badly damaged.

And how comes only the readers who are not die hard fans would understand this interview as you did and the press didn’t say anything? Wouldn’t that be something huge? Rob saying his couple’s fake and he’s available to every easy girl who’s interested would be on every media sites. But nothing huge anywhere, guess you and your few friends are the only ones who understand this interview like that.

He admits he says stuff just to get sound bites, the whole “married” thing when filming Breaking Dawn was obviously his way of trying to bait the media. He just said that to get attention, he knew perfectly well the guy was an actor, not a minister. He says things when he’s on a promo tour specifically to get attention and mess with the media. He admitted he made up a deleted scene, and nobody picked up on it.

The only thing you can believe in this interview are his direct quotes, the rest of it is fabricated garbage. The interviewer doesn’t have any idea what Rob’s heart feels.

He didn't say he don't want to marry her he just said in that magazine that his mum heard he will get married and know one if it's true or not !! he didn't mention any thing about not wanting to marry kristen.they live together and am sure one day they will get married !! Robert always said that his parents have been married for a pretty long time and they love each other so am sure he really believe in marriage !!

I feel bad for both Rob and Kristen. Rob more so b/c of Kristen’s cheating. I know that must have hurt him. I’m sure she’s very upset with herself and wishes she could take it back. I know it’s not my business and they will never read this, but I just wanted to say that I’ve been in the situation myself. My husband cheated on me once too. It was a mistake he will always regret and can’t take back, but if you love each other and and can never picture your life with anyone else then try to work through it…. It’s not easy, but sometimes (in my case) it’s definitely worth it.

I wouldn’t want to be rich and/or famous for anything! These people have no privacy. (yeah, I know – they’re the ones who chose to become famous) but the Stalkarazzi just goes WAY to far these days! It’s disgusting, and I have no respect for anyone who reads the “trash mags”. When they’re going thru garbage, or taking photos with long lenses, it’s just too far, IMO.

Rob did have a good point, too. It’s really difficult to tell “tone” with the written word. Unless you’re going to add a bunch of smiley faces, it’s hard for people who don’t know the famous person’s sense of humor. So while the person is joking around, one person may catch it & laugh … But another person may think s/he was being serious, & think the person is an ass.
