Robert Carradine, the star of Revenge of the Nerds, has been badly hurt in a terrible car crash. The actor’s vehicle was struck by a semi-truck on a Colorado highway. The incident occurred last week but was first reported on Thursday.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Carradine crossed the dividing line before he was hit by the truck. He was rescued by firefighters and rushed to a hospital with what’s described as “incapacitating” injuries. His wife Edie was also in the car and sustained injuries. Gossip Cop has reached out for more information about their current condition.

Carradine was cited for careless driving for initiating the accident. Police say drugs and alcohol were not involved in the crash. Gossip Cop will have updates.

The actor is perhaps best known for portraying Lewis Skolnick in the Revenge of the Nerds movies, as well as his role as the title character’s father on the Disney Channel hit “Lizzie McGuire.” More recently, he co-hosted “King of the Nerds” on TBS with his old Revenge of the Nerds pal Curtis Armstrong. Carradine’s family has been established in Hollywood for years, starting with his actor dad John. His late brother, David, starred on “Kung Fu,” while his brother Keith is known for movies and film, too.
