Rob Kardashian Subway Spokesperson

Rob Kardashian is not in talks to become the new Subway spokesperson, despite a made-up webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim about the reality star who was recently rushed to the hospital, where it was discovered he has diabetes. We’re told there are “no plans” for Kardashian to team up with Subway.

According to fiction writers at HollywoodLife, Subway is on the hunt for a new pitchman now that former spokesperson Jared Fogle has been sentenced to more than 15 years in prison for sexually abusing minors. A so-called “source” is quoted by the webloid as saying the sandwich company is interested in using Kardashian as the new face of Subway, and helping him lose weight in the process. The site’s (probably made-up) source claims, “Subway has been having discussions and would like to see if working with Rob would be a fit to not only help get him healthy but possibly have him become the next weight loss success story.”

That’s interesting because no one has apparently told Kardashian or Subway about this. Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Subway, who exclusively tells us that while the company “wishes Mr. Kardashian well,” the food franchise has absolutely “no plans to partner” with him or “anyone as a spokesperson at this point.”

This isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has caught HollywoodLies concoct a story about Kardashian and his weight. We previously busted the webloid for alleging his Kim Kardashian told her brother that he was so overweight, he’d “ruin” her wedding pictures with the family. That report was a total lie, as is the webloid’s latest fabrication.
