Kris Jenner: Rob Kardashian Still Wants To Be On “Keeping Up With Kardashians”
As Gossip Cop has reported, Kardashian retreated from the spotlight over the last two years as he dealt with weight issues and mental health problems. Most recently, he was diagnosed with diabetes. But during an interview with Maria Shriver on Thursday, Jenner made the case that her only son has just needed some time away from the cameras, and still wants to be a part of their famous family’s very public lifestyle.
“Well, he’s still part of the show,” said the matriarch. “He’s had a year where he kind of wanted to chill. He hasn’t been feeling well. We didn’t really know why. He was just diagnosed with diabetes so we’re taking care of that, but he’s always around.”
Indeed, the matriarch claimed Kardashian “enjoys” participating in “all of the family stuff,” and said they never considered ending the show due to his woes. “He wants to still come back and shoot the show. He just wants to feel better,” said Jenner. “It’s not that he doesn’t want to be on the show. It’s just he wasn’t feeling good.”
Jenner further referred to Kardashian’s disappearance from the reality series as a “little hiatus,” but noted season 12 of “KUWTK” started shooting this week without him. For his part, though, Kardashian himself has not commented on his health issues or any possible future in the public eye at all. Mother and son are pictured together above in 2013.
