Rob Kardashian Threatening Restraining Order Against Family Claim NOT True
Rob Kardashian is NOT threatening to get a restraining order against his family, despite a report about a supposed “intervention” gone wrong. Gossip Cop can bust the story.
According to RadarOnline, Kardashian’s “war with his family over his engagement to Blac Chyna ratcheted up to its most serious level yet after they all got in a huge battle of wills.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “The family tried to stage a kind of intervention, begging him to not marry her.”
It’s specifically claimed Kardashian’s famous sisters “wanted him to dump his fiancée and future baby mama,” while Kris Jenner pressured her son about a prenup. “The confrontation became so heated that Kardashian finally blew up and ‘threatened to get a restraining order against them all,'” writes the site. “The pronouncement has seemed to shut his family up — at least for now.”
The alleged tipster goes on, “It wasn’t until he got legal on them that they realized they had no choice but to get on with it, which is one of the main reasons Rob’s sister Kim bullied Kylie into publicly making peace with Blac. They went way too far and it all backfired.”
It’s pretty convenient of RadarOnline to allege that Kardashian wanted to take out a restraining, but then include a ready-made excuse for why he didn’t actually do it. It’s typical tabloid trickery, in which the gossip outlets dramatically claim something came close to happening, but since it didn’t all the way, they don’t have to worry about actually proving it. The tactic is transparent.
Also obvious is that RadarOnline keeps relying on these “insiders” for its supposed “exclusives” about the Kardashians, and rarely do they turn out to be true. (And “rarely” is being generous.) Kim Kardashian actually spoke positively about her brother and Chyna in Cannes on Tuesday, and it wasn’t because she has the threat of a restraining order hanging over her head. The family may have mix feelings about the situation, and certainly there’s been ups and downs, but no one is contemplating going to court.
