“Rob & Chyna” Spinoff To Air On E!
“Rob & Chyna,” a spinoff to “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” will air on E! later this year, it was announced on Wednesday.
The new series will showcase Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s engagement, as well as their journey to becoming parents. As Gossip Cop has reported, she is currently pregnant with their first child together. Six hour-long episodes have been ordered, along with a special focused on their baby’s arrival.
Jeff Olde, the network’s vice president for original programming and development says in a statement, “Very few love stories have created as much pop culture buzz as Rob and Chyna’s, and we are thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place. We are excited to share the next chapter in their relationship.”
The couple will co-executive produce the series, with Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim/Murray Productions also on board. Both of those companies produce “KUWTK,” which is currently in the midst of its 12th season. And, as Gossip Cop has noted, Kardashian has returned to being seen on-camera after a self-imposed hiatus from the family show last year.
But his romance with Chyna has led to a public comeback. And following their engagement, they were said to be interested in doing a reality show. Now the series is official, and even family matriarch Kris Jenner is a producer. No premiere date has been announced yet.
