Rita Ora BLASTS Mirror Reporter Polly Hudson For X Factor Diss: “Suck My D*ck”
Rita Ora blasted Mirror reporter Polly Hudson on Thursday, over an op-ed column that slammed “The X Factor UK” for naming her a new judge.
Ora will join Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, and fellow newbie Nick Grimshaw for the ITV series’ 12th season. Ora and Grimshaw are replacing previous judges Louis Walsh, who was an original panelist, and Mel B. Ora previously appeared on the music competition as a guest judge, and was also a coach on “The Voice UK.”
While there is no premiere date yet as production is just beginning, Hudson is already convinced that Ora does not belong on the show. With an opinion piece titled “My 10 better choices of ‘X Factor’ judge than Rita Ora,” Hudson said Ora’s casting is “completely baffling madness,” and argued, “She’s even less musically revered than Cheryl (which takes some doing), dull, desperate and literally ‘The Voice’s sloppy seconds.”
“It’s not even like we might understand this decision once we see Rita in action, because we’ve already seen her – as a guest judge on ‘The X Factor’ three years ago,” Hudson wrote. “And, of course, as many as eight people may have watched her on ‘The Voice,’ although probably not all at once.” Hudson went on to mock Ora as she gave her preferred judging selections, which included her 10-month-old baby. “He has an ear infection. Still a much better prospect than Rita Ora,” she wrote.
Ora ripped Hudson on Twitter after catching wind of the article, writing, “Suck my D*$k Polly Hudson I guess the mirror is the only newspaper that prints your sh*tty pointless stories.” She continued in a second tweet, “But never guess what see you every Saturday night. I know you’ll be watching. I’ll blow you a kiss. Thanks for making it 9.”
The British singer went on plead, “Journalists please bring positivity back into the world don’t just try & get readers (if U have any) & waste their brain space with rubbish!” Shortly after, however, Ora deleted the “d*ck” tweet, saying she didn’t want to give Hudson “promotion.” What do you think of Ora calling out Hudson on Twitter?
